The Samsung one is much better.
jonnybryce said:Whoa I hadn't seen that Samsung one. It's really good, better than the fan one. Except for the awkward, "If it...had that...and this!...shouldn't you...have one?...yes...you should...." line I loved it.
Wow, this was unexpected. You're probably right with the price, but maybe it's worth it. It's so nice to have demos.Zerokku said:I love katamari is this weeks Xbox Live game

Just checked iTunes and its $5 on there, so Im gonna take a shot in the dark and say this is going to be another $7 konami title.

The Trophy isn't huge for a smartphone. 3.7" is pretty much the average size. If you're not interested in a new contract, search for it on eBay, you should be able to get it cheap (under 300 bucks).derFeef said:I am really interested in a WP7 now but I can´t decide on the hardware. imo no. but then again i thought Black ops wouldn't sell. you always have to remember people arebrotkasten said:

Official XBL branded games for WP7 are always more expensive than the iOS counterparts. Minimum price is $2.99 from what I can tell. Everything else on the marketplace is up to the developer. You see shitty games for $2.99 or great XBL indie ports for $0.99. There are even some good free games out there.shadowcomplex said:so will windows phone 7 users always have to pay more for games that are on the IOS as well?
This! I really hope it runs better than on the iOS devices, but I kind of doubt it. I'm still a bit sad that Puzzle Quest 2 runs like crap. I own it for the Xbox and the Nintendo DS and would have bought it again, but when they're already charging more than on the competitor's platform they should at least polish the game.dallow_bg said:Will be very interesting to compare the performance of it to my 3G, 3GS, 4, and iPad.
http://www.mobiletechworld.com/2011...vailable-in-windows-phone-7-for-french-users/Microsoft has just announced that Bing is now finally out of beta in France so the first thing I did was to try it out on Windows Phone 7 to see if anything has changed, especially Local Search. Like I said in yesterdays news about the rumored April 11th update; I was told that this feature will be enabled in H1 2011 and that it wouldnt necessarily require an OS update on the WP7 handsets being used in France (or another country outside of the US which already has all these features enabled). Turns out that this may have been wrong (no surprise here never fully trust what a company spokesperson tells you..) because as off right now the only way to get local search in Bing (in UK and now in France) on WP7 is to set your the Browser & Search region to US. This leads me to believe that their may be some truth to the April 11th update that Orange France is talking about.

We noted in early January that if the trend keeps up, the Marketplace will hit 10,000 by mid-March. We're now certain that will happen. The big question we have is will the 500 per week number ever increase?

2. For the Focus owners out there, how do you like it?
Exactly my sentiment. I mean, for the platform to survive they DO need big iPhone ports like Angry Birds and Doodle Jump, but an exclusive title here and there goes without saying.Brettison said:So I went back to Ilo Milo today as I hadn't played it since the update which I did already download.
Note to MS: We need more Ilo Milos of the world and less Pac Mans, Castlevania Puzzle, and Puzzle Quest 2s. Milo is fun, unique, fully featured, rather length, solid controlling, great graphically without and big fps problems, sweet soundtrack, and something I can't get else where.
they're coming. ilomilo was a start, hydro thunder and plants vs zombies are also great exclusives.Brettison said:So I went back to Ilo Milo today as I hadn't played it since the update which I did already download.

any katamari impressions?
I believe it's on PC and the iPhone, so no it is not.Husker86 said:Plants vs. Zombies is an exclusive?
Definitely on iOS, not sure about PC. Suppose my question was sarcastic.claviertekky said:I believe it's on PC and the iPhone, so no it is not.

Instead it shows me this image with useless information.

When will be the next time my phone checks for App Updates? Do I need to be connected to a router? What happens if I can't connect to a router? It's a nice idea for very small Apps that could be downloaded via EDGE, but not for 60+MB games or applications.
Has Microsoft ever said why they didn't just copy what Apple's iDevices are doing? They should at least give me the choice. My internet at home is pretty slow and I can't always access the router with my cell phone. Downloading via 3G is not an option either since it's not available where I live (EDGE only).
Uhm, isn't this exactly what happens? It downloads the app (as a .xap file, iirc) and if you connect your phone, it will be transferred and then installed (with a delay). I could be wrong though. And app updates? Well, you obviously need some kind of internet connection to get the reminder, but they get pushed out as soon as they hit the marketplace. Just today I got an update for myChannel9 and Pixel Man.
But yeah, I agree. Zune on Windows doesn't have any app management. At least with a Zune HD you can see the apps you have installed.

Yup, even though these games are everywhere else it definitely doesn't hurt to have them available.teacupcopter said:Plants vs. Zombies is either on or is coming out on PC retail/Digital download services, Xbox 360, PS3, DS, iOS, Android and soon to be WP7. It's not exclusive. It's a good get though, great time waster.
IloMilo is a great pick up and play game that plays to the strengths of the interface and looks nice. Much like Angry Birds, PvZ and stuff like that. MS would do well to get more games like that onboard.

Congrats! The HD7 is a great device.Wormdundee said:I jumped in on this and bought a tmobile HTC HD7 on ebay. The UI is really the highlight and they should show it off more.

UPDATEWed. Mar. 2
Starting today, we plan to resume rolling out the February update to Samsung phones. Meanwhile, were continuing to dispatch the update to other Windows Phone models. As has been the case, the software patch is being sent out on a rolling schedule. Youll see a message on your phone when its available.
During the past week the engineering team has pinpointed and fixed problems that were preventing a small percentage of Windows Phones from installing the February software patch. We apologize again for the delay and continue looking for ways to improve the update process.
