I'm absolutely in love with Strata right now. It's a puzzle game with an amazing 2D art style. Looks even better in motion. It's about layering and weaving colorful bands in a way that the top layer matches a predefined color. I'm getting a slight hint of Sudoku in the way it plays, but it's much less dry to me.

Pretty easy on WP8 (impossible on WP7). You can change the regions at anytime (requires a reboot) to buy stuff in other region stores (but you need a valid way of payment in that region to buy non-free stuff, paypal is accpted). But every application works despite the current region settings.

You also get update notifications for every app/game despite from where you bought it and the current phone settings, but to actually download the update you need to be in the right region for the app (it won't update if it is not available in the current store).

The same as Windows 8, actually.

Edited: you change the region from your phone, not from your MS Live account.

I had a Windows Phone 7 and enjoyed some games, but thought it was lacking. Dropped off for a little while and just last night I got a Lumia 521. So far I got Angry Birds Star Wars 2, Jetpack Joyride, Final Fantasy III and Rayman Jungle Run.

I worked with the Moga Pro controller and I enjoyed the Xbox360'y feel of the controller.
