Why on earth make a wireless controll with no slots for the Live mic? They come packaget with a receiver where you can plug one in, but it has to be connected to the console via a 2" cable....fukking ghey.

Is there a wireless controller coming out in the near future that will be compatible with the mic input?

powering the port for the headset and handling the extra data probably chugs down battery life

it would also have to send the voice data back and fourth wirelessly. unless you want walkie talkie quality, it wouldnt be cheap.

data transfer is the primary concern
The xbox uses Propritary USB Ports, so the system would have to be able to transmit far too much data to have a expansion port on the controller, the far more viable option would be a wireless headset that would come off the wireless controller port that already exisits.
