Original stick movement: Dark Souls II
New, alternate stick movement: Dark Souls 1 / Bloodborne.
That's like an insult to Souls.
More like:
Original stick movement: GTA 4
New, alternate stick movement: GTA 5
Original stick movement: Dark Souls II
New, alternate stick movement: Dark Souls 1 / Bloodborne.
Going to have to disagree.
Dark Souls II restricted your movement when of rolling/attacking in specific directions, you had a lot less control in terms of direction and of your overall character because of this.
The reason it was like this, was because they removed things like dead angles and reverse rolls.
Example:
Dark Souls II rolling/attacking:
Dark Souls 1 and Bloodborne rolling/attacking:
This is straight away what switching to the new movement felt like to me, very reminiscent of the differences between DkS1/Bloodborne and DkS2. It's nothing to do with crappy framerate, it's more to do with restricting your directional options.
You're not going to play for achievements? I didn't realised they actually mattered to people.

By that logic you'd never play the game, as there are always going to bugs related to simple triggers. If they've broken/can't get what should be a simple trigger right, it is not beyond the realm of possibility that other, more elaborate things are broken too.
So has anyone tested turning off motion blur/blur on PS4 and going to the swamps?
So, I had previously completed the quest "Novigrad, Closed City", but after the patch it is now listed as failed. All the boxes for the quest under objectives are ticked as well.
oh, well. At least it's not game breaking.
In my game it was even dumber. I completed the quest and everything was fine, then it went into failed quests, then it disappeared, and now it's listed in the active ones with all the boxes ticked. I'm thrilled to find out what will happen to it when i install the 1.07 patch lmao.
The Halfling that sells bomb recipes is completely unreachable for me. There's a quest where you follow him after he runs from guards and I assume you're supposed to see a trigger when you find where he went, but it never fires and he's completely impossible to interact with.
Which means I can't use his shop, at all. I have multiple saves before ever meeting him and it's just completely impossible to unlock his shop if you haven't done the quest already.
if i missed the caberet quest after doing, is that gone forever? Hear that was a good one.isle of mists
Are you talking about the halfling you meet in an alley, before he escapes and you have to use your Witcher Senses to find him, but it's broken/nothing to find? The Halfling that sells bomb recipes is completely unreachable for me. Can anyone give any anecdotes about the if disabling Postprocessing on consoles had an impact to performance?
Does anybody have the problem during the quest;Get Junior: Talk to Vernon Roche in the partisan camp, were they are unable to interact Vernon Roche? I have tried reloading my save with absolutely no luck at all. I have the game patched to 1.07, and am wondering if anybody has a fix for this?

If so, the same happened with me. Found him later, and had completely forgot about him, but as soon as I talked to him, the quest was completed.
This is where I found him. He's one of the two merchants (the furthest from the water), by the two boats, directly below Electors' Square.
Just jumped to this patch. Last time I played was early June. I've disabled the motion blur and blur which makes it feel better to me but what is the Movement Response difference between Standard and Alternative?
I tried this thing. It works for a bit but if I resetting to on seems the same fps. Weird.Just jumped to this patch. Last time I played was early June. I tried jumping in the other day but was completely lost and now i have a conundrum of do i restart and lose like 60 hours i have sunk into the game or continue playing with having forgot the previous 60 hours.Just jumped to this patch. Is there a way to avoid the bug affecting Skellige's Most Wanted or does it always happen ?
Took a screenshot just to show you all the stages of the quest. The quest went from the failed list to active and then to completed after I had done it.
