Those two parts don't add up to a system.
yeah. let's just superglue the CPU to the GPU and call it a console beating PC.

Motion Blur is off from what I saw in the video, AA is off, Shadows are on medium, textures are on high, textures on the PS4 version seem to match the PC version on Ultra settings according to candyland's video. His settings are.
VSync Off
1080
Unlocked Framerate
Hairworks off. This one interests me. Did they get this working on consoles?
Number of BG Chars High
Shadows Med
Terrain High
Water Ultra
Grass High
Texture High
Foliage Vis Range Med(this is a huge resource hog)
Detail High
Post
All on except AA.
SSAO
Not only that, but now we have people constantly talking about recording takes 5fps away, I personally don't believe this, but if you're going to say this that means the comparison is already invalidated, notwithstanding the lower settings than PS4 already makes it moot. PS4 was at least 20fps higher on average over the 750ti in Project Cars. When Nxgamer compares the 750ti yet again (with no talk of fps takes away 5fps in sight), we will all see how it stands, of course, I know what the outcome will be, but this drum never seem to stop beating for some reason. Not a real comparison.
The PS4 runs on "high" foliage range (I've verified this), and the PS4 is supposed to keep those 30 fps for the rest of the game too, not just the starting area. As soon he arrives to that tiny village he has to go down to 900p to keep 30+ fps.
That means less fps on even lower settings compared to a PS4. In the lighter zone of the game.
So, in this game, the 750Ti is NOWHERE PS4 quality.

Still the game runs below 30fps most of the time which is below what we saw of the PS4 version and it frequently dips into 25-26fps territory, of course with no vsync on. So another 750ti comparison with worse settings than the console versions and still a worse framerate overall. I'm never sure why these comparisons are made in the first place, they've been proven wrong time and time again.

I only have 4 gigs of ram. A 2500k and a 750 ti and don't have any major issues. I just shut off motion blur, hair works and set foliage to medium.
It's very comparable. I would endorse Withcer 3 on PC for BC alone. If you swap out your 750Ti with a better GPU down the road you can get better performance.
What do you mean? NO MB, NO AA in his settings, he's using SSAO when HBAO is constantly used in PS4 games. This is just a quick take from what I've seen, I'm pretty sure when a proper comparison is done we can keep adding more specifics. With all this missing and no vsync in place, the framerate is still worse overall. What else is needed to throw this out the window?High and Ultra textures are the same quality.
Why do you think those settings used on the i3/750Ti machine are lower than PS4? I think I know why but maybe I'm wrong.
That's a better statement, however, I'm only going by what I see as per candyland's video as he compared PC Ultra vs PS4. If your money was on which system could use ultra textures, would it be the 2GB 750ti or the PS4?High and ultra look exactly the same so based on that video there's no way to tell if the ps4 was using high or ultra.

Did people watch the video? He is just under 30 fps almost always with some things turned way down that I believe are on with consoles (AA for example). I think this could have been done better.

Ultra and high are not the same quality, I know where you're coming from when you say that, but it's still an incorrect statement regardless. If there was no difference then the setting would not exist and it would not incur a higher performance/resource penalty over the high setting.

My experience as well. My friend is running the game on PC "high" settings, and it looks pretty much identical to the PS4 version. His framerate is hovers in 40 range though.I have the Ps4 version, and a copy on pc maxed out all settings on ultra on my gtx 770. Using my receiver to switch back and forth between the two. And they look about the same at 1080p. Maybe pc has slightly higher quality effects but just looking at the two you would think they are exactly the same. They only difference that jumps out if you really look would be the hair effects. But the normal hair on both pc and ps4 look great. It could be that the difference of high vs ultra is not that big of a jump.
Witcher 3 looks like something I'll play through once, and then move on. For that reason (as well as the high cost), I'd rather own a physical copy that I can resell, to purchase another game. Digital games are worthless.

Consoles appear to be High to Ultra at mostly 30fps. 1080p for PS4 and 900p for Xbox One.

http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/digitalfoundry-2015-witcher-3-wild-hunt-performance-analysisAs a frame of reference, these consoles already appear to lurk at the PC's mid-point in terms of overall quality - with extras like velocity-based motion blur, chromatic aberration, bloom, and light shafts all engaged.

V-Sync: On
Resolution: 1920x1080
Nvidia Hairworks: Off
Number of Background Characters: Low (console actually seems lower than this)
Shadow Quality: Medium
Terrain Quality: Medium
Water Quality: High
Grass Density: Medium
Texture Quality: Ultra
Foliage Visibility Range: Medium
Detail Level: Medium
Ambient Occlusion: SSAO
All post effects on except vignetting.
DF's says the PS4 drops to as low as 20 FPS, with constant dorps to 25 in large cities or when traveling fast on horse.
Alongside other parts, they do add up nicely in partpicker.yeah. let's just superglue the CPU to the GPU and call it a console beating PC.

You are bar none the worst "warrior" on the forum.Lol! Hahaha dat digital foundry slap down. High to ultra my ass.
Wonder if well hear from the console warriors above now that we have this.
You are bar none the worst "warrior" on the forum.
No. He generally states facts. You are bar none the worst "warrior" on the forum.
PS4: No people in Novigrad 30fps
XBO: People in Novigrad 24FPS
PC (140€gpu): People in Novigrad 37fps
I'm surprised you don't catch his 'lol salty' (here and in other threads) and the fact that he often ends his comments with instigation alongside his facts. He's a 'warrior' through and through. You'll find him in most multiplatform comparison threads.No. He generally states facts.
Of course, as a PC gamer it's a rather common occurrence in technical threads that the facts look biased towards your perspective.
DigitalFoundry says PS4 uses something similar to these settings:
Why am I not surprised....I'll ignore the your last sentence.

Are you expecting me to draw console gamer (obviously driven by emotion) vs pc gamer (pure facts) battle lines or something?
Is AMD making a driver update just for Witcher 3?
Yes, you're right, bias only happens when people play consoles. Controllers affect their decision making capabilities. It's everything but ad hominem actually, facts are facts.
He is right when he says a few console gamers definitely don't accept facts and immediately assume bias when there is none.

I've seen research about it.
Yeah they said to expect it soon.
