who?
That was my thought as well, but WB leaving both slots open seems off, and The Batman is what I'd guess to be closest to production.
I just realized WW is going to be the first superhero movie since The Avengers to crack 400M DOM without Batman, Iron Man or Spider-Man in it.
Just another thing to add to its mighty impressive run.
Guess my wording was weird. But Avengers had Iron Man in it.
By the time Avatar sequel will release, people aren't going to give a shit. What does this even mean?
Rth is saying $18M for Dunkirk on Sat. If that holds, the weekend would be $51-52M.
It is still early though.
Valerian was a fucking embarrassment. It's been awhile since I've seen a movie that, on numerous occasions, made me want to crawl under my seat and hide.

I don't even understand how they're going to have anything done in time for those March and July 2018 slots.

They have movies with Batgril, Aquaman and Suicide Squad planned, but no new Superman movie?
WTF??
He's one of the bigest (if not the bigest) hero of DC with Batman.

Kind of surprised Tomb Raider wasn't shown at comic con. When will we likely see it?
I have to say that Valerian's projected $16m over three days obviously isn't great but it is still better than most of the doom laden predictions I've seen. I thought it was going to be lucky to get $11m never $16m given it's social media profile etc.
I walked out on Baby Driver.
I had food poisoning. But I also wasn't super into it.
It wasn't that good anyway tbh. I'm a huge fan of Wright too but walked away feeling really meh on it

Glad Spidey is dropping hard. Hated it.

I'm saving Valerian for whenever it hits Netflix. That way I can do a double feature with King Arthur.
How well did Lucy do compared to that?Official weekend estimate for Valerian is $17M

Sounds like a miserable evening to me.
