I agree. As a father of a 15 month old, any stories involving children being killed really wound my soul. Before I was a dad, they bothered me but not as deeply.

Crap, even Paranormal Activity 2 will probably bother me because it involves a toddler being spooked.

Not interested in semantics, if you kill someone like that woman did to her innocent baby, you should get what's coming to you, and society can't just ignore the need for justice, otherwise we'll have murderers and rapists prancing around free after 25 with parole. Fucking murderers should APOLOGIZE to those who do the executions, nobody wants that shit on their conscience but there's only one way to permanently rid the world of fucking low-life scumbags.

What she did is inexcusable, but saying lol farmville, what a dumb bitch is nerve grating.
 
Have a 2 and a half month baby, this is just scary. I've had a couple times where I was angry because he wouldn't stop crying, but I could never shake him. Just the thought of losing him makes me so sad.

I feel sorry for the baby and sorry for the mother. She will never live this down :/

Not that it has anything to do with it, but I think he was getting at the fact that anyone can garden themselves, even in an apartment. For the record, I don't 'get' sports videogames either.

It's pretty clear the woman was mentally deficient and not emotionally or intellectually capable of raising a child.

The game is just color for the sad story.
 
My guess is the baby has colic which is a symptom that makes the baby cry nonstop for many hours for no reason at all. Which could drive a parent crazy and eventually do something she regrets. or it could be farmville...

This this this. Someone who doesn't sleep for days on end isn't thinking straight. She is a 22 year old girl with a baby and probably a million other problems. She wasn't ready to be a parent.

No excuse for what she did but this isn't just Farmville. All these video game "related" murders usually follow the same mold as this. There is something else going on outside the game as well.
 
Mate as far as i am concerned you kill a child, especially one of this age, the poor defenceless baby, you should be fucking tortured like some shit from saw. Since i had my little one it mae me change my whole perspective on these things. A baby that age. . .fuck this is sad and she should be punished. Having food water and a roof over her is not punishment.
 
People need to realize that the whole baby interupting a Farmville session is what she told authorities. The truth is probably far worse. There is such a thing as shaken baby syndrome, but death is far more slow and usually causes impaired motor functions, seizures, blown pupils, etc. as the result of bleeding of the brain. The more likely scenario in this case is a skull fracture. This child was likely the victim of physical abuse long before this incident.

As far as the death penalty argument, the fact is child abuse laws are far too lenient in the United States.

I covered a case not too long ago where a guy did a few years for an incident like this where an infant was killed via severe head trauma while under his care. He did a few years in the pen for “involuntary manslaughter”. What did he do when he got out? He killed another baby.

I'm sorry. I have no sympathy for baby killers.
