Classy.

Pretty amazing, but if it works for her, good for her.

Doesn't seem that bad. Pretty impressed with all that organization and such.

Though the lack of a kitchen and the fact that it looks like you could wake up and hit your head on the ceiling seems too much for that price.

Gotta respect people that are all about living their life and not concerned with possessions.

I like my stuff though...
Tbh all I need is a PC, a bathroom, small fridge and a comfy sleeping couch/sleeper.

And I guess space to do P90X lol!

No need for TVs, ugh but yeah need space for clothing, shoes.

Just to live in Manhattan? Boy the things some people will do...

Why would anyone want to live in Brooklyn?

Why wouldn't they, Brooklyn is fucking killer. I lived there for 2 years, some really great times and great vibe.

The increase in happiness from living a block from central park as opposed to the asshole you call Brooklyn is worth much more than the difference in money.

When did living in Brooklyn become a bad thing?

Christ, that's a prison cell sized room.
I think even my room at the halls of residence in uni was (slightly) bigger.
It looks nice but I couldn't hack it for long.

Impressive. I really don't think I could sleep in two feet of vertical space though.

Even if it didn't mess with you that would really mess up teh lovins'. It's kind of cool and I'm sure she loves living down there but no stove would be a tough tradeoff for me as well. She must eat at public restaurants for most meals.

$700, no kitchen and no man could fuck you even if he tried because there's no space. Move to Brooklyn you dumbass.

Does it even include utilities? Internet usage is extra as well. Any grocery shopping around her is going to be expensive (unless she lives near Trader Joes). So in the end, she pays upwards of $800 - $850 to not be able to sit up in bed or have a decent late night brinner.

Never, only to people that have never lived there I guess...

The things? Like, living her life?

Yes it was a blanket statement, probably should have worded it different. It just seems crazy when there are better options. But if she's content then thats all that matters.

Well, if you're starting a career on Wall Street working ridiculous hours, I could see this being practical since your apartment is basically just where you sleep. Especially if you're just working in the city for a few years and plan on transferring out.

Hey guys, I didn't catch where she was from. Did she mention anything about people from her city or being from a certain city at all?

I could see myself living in a space like that. I only really use my apartment to sleep and shower. I don't own much either.

Wow at the comments on that site from New Yorkers pissing on the woman for not living like a "Grown Up" or whatevedafuk.

I keep forgetting so many people take for granted this delusion that there's only one way for people to live, think, earn, eat, and sleep. And how weirdly pissed off they get when presented with evidence to the contrary.

I've been a southern boy all my life. this is fucking ridiculous.

smh New Yokers

You choose to live in a spacious home packed with stuff you never need or use.

She chooses to take advantage of living in a great place, and using that place to her advantage.

It goes both ways.

Look, it's stupid. But she's paying WAY less than most New Yorkers for a WAY better location. You can eat for next to nothing if you do it right. And she seems happy. I have to give her a minor high five, she pulled it off.

Again, $700 in that location is an incredibly good deal. Possibly even less per square foot than her neighbors.

I couldn't do it because I have a 2.7 foot vertical thrust during lovemaking.

700/month is nothing in that city. She's sitting pretty.

NO, it's dumb. my two-bedroom in Brooklyn is 1200 and my living room is just as big as hers. THERE. ARE. NO. "LUXURIES" to be had where she is at. NONE. none! it's dumb people like her that drive up prices for no good reason.

and I live here too and I'm trying to think why anyone in their right mind would pay this ridiculous prize. it's stupid.

If the building had a communal kitchen, it would be perfect. Well, almost perfect. Id like more overhead space for the bed....

And not only is she saving on rent, but also utilities. How much do you think it costs to heat that space?

Honestly people, look at your homes. How often do you use the formal dining room? The living room? What percentage of the house is taken up by garage? How large is your laundry room?

So much unnecessary waste.

And unlike the giant homes in suburbs....your in Manhattan, so your living room is the entire city. I'd take central park over 1/4 acre back yard. I'd take the hundreds of coffee shops over a den.

As for having to stop by the market every 2-3 days....so what? Anyone whos been to new york knows shes going to walk, and on her walk, shell be passing food vendors. Its not like theyre out of the way.

Brooklyn has better parks. Central park is fake and man-made, prospect park has a real forest within it. how the hell can anyone think a traffic chocked man made garden is better than a natural park is beyond me.

I did the NYC tourist thing once and that was enough.

If she can stand it, more power to her, but I think I would go positively deranged from claustrophobia if I were in that "apartment" for any extended period of time.

I expected a cramped space but the high ceilings definitely helped. She probably could do alot more to that space though, like that guy who did an 89 sq ft mobile house but she is renting so there is no point in putting much effort into that place.

And do not underestimate living next to a city's premier park. I used to live less than half a mile from Balboa Park in San Diego and now that I am in Orlando, and miles and miles away from any parks sucks ass. Definitely took a hit in my quality of life.

It took this long for someone to bring up the real problem here.

She's a block from Central Park. Whether you like it or not, it's a very desirable location.

then she's a fool.

edit: but the way certain people keep falling for the so called glamour of mid town Manhattan, pretty soon everyone there will live in a 90 square foot apartment.
I'm not even mad at the amount of space she is living in. the problem is that landlords see this and it gives them every incentive to jack up prizes.

Get over it, not everyone wants to be in Crooklyn.

Maybe she has friends near there, maybe she regulars some of the shit by her, maybe she simply likes it?

The money spent on that Mac could have been used elsewhere.

Maybe it was a gift?

Anyways, there's plenty of space in her living room to have sex. She was all up doing yoga moves there, so I assume she can spread her vagina open in the same area.
