Wonder Woman MTV Awards Trailer

Exactly. If people want to see bad acting there are plenty of shows out there that show bad acting to the point no one will debate its quality. Gal Gadot's acting isn't bad. Far from it. Is she Oscar worthy? No but majority of actors aren't. She's fine.

Maybe the final movie will deliver, but in that trailer the little girl did a better job of showing some charisma.

Unrelated, I was hoping she would yell "I'm Wonder Woman!" when the guy asked who she was. They should just own how campy the name is.

I love that theme :(

Agreed that they have misused it way too many times.

The tune itself is works well in the context of the BvS movie where it comes from (well, the action scene, not the email scene). It just hasn't worked well outside it.

The problem is that it doesn't convey much besides intensity. I'm shit at talking about how music can convey a 'feeling', but it doesn't sound heroic or greek, or dire or happy or sad or...anything except intense. It goes good with a brainless action scene and not much else for the same reason.

It's not even that it inherently can't be more than what it is now. If the composer puts their own cover of it, adding melodies and instruments, it can work as a fine theme. I hope that happens in the movie.

good trailer, bad music choice

also, it's pretty much Wonder Woman: The First Justice Leaguer... not that there's anything inherently wrong with that.

No, you did a fine job explaining it. I generally agree.

With some work, I think WB can adapt it to give audiences a modern Wonder Woman theme that sticks. They just really need to step away from that electric cello.

Some conventional strings would probably be a better place to start.

I don't know, I liked the version used in this ad

It's high energy, but not as... busy I guess

Best trailer yet, especially since her theme music was absent from it for once.

Not confident at all though, but guess we'll see...

We're a long way from TDKR MTV trailer, but I loved this trailer the most out of all of them. I'm hyped now.

Not a fan of the music used in the trailer, but at least it didn't have the horrible screeching WW theme from BvS come in out of the blue.

Still, cautiously optimistic about the film, but still having low expectations.

Goddamn, the way she flicked her wrist with the whip. Fucking floored. It's little touches like that that show the filmmakers really understand the character. This film will be the highest grossing of all time.

Looks pretty good. People kinda act like slow-mo and speed ramping is automatically bad the same way they act like long takes are automatically good. I think this looks pretty serviceable and fun.

I'll agree that the music is dopey though.

I don't trust them enough to see this in theaters though.

No one else is worried about her acting? She sounds downright bored in this.
I dunno what you're talking about honestly. Just sounds stoic to me, but I'm not particularly impressed by the performances in many of these movies. I've never seen her in anything else, but these tiny 5 second clips w/o context or facial expressions attached to them seem pretty tough to have an opinion about.

I think that's a YT thing, not sure why

But yeah it's glaring at times.
It's for the ad trailers before YouTube videos: that way you get a quick 5 second trailer before the 'Skip Ad' button comes up on the bottom and you skip it to watch your normal video

Now that looked like something I'd see.

Apart from the shitty music great trailer. I will still hold out for reviews, but this is the first time a WW trailer has gotten me even a little interested.

That scene in the end with her fighting while there is fire and explosions all around was so good. Can't wait for the 2nd.

"We are the warriors" - "You have to run" - Gawd those music choices, they're awful.

Gadot is still bland, but it looks like it could be fun. I'm still heavily skeptical of its quality though. DC / WB please you better not let me down again, please!

Didn't care for the music, but I'm expecting a full symphonic score with that electric string theme they've attached to her.

It looks cool.

So they made another trailer to a movie that is about to release soon.

it still looks bad, but at least it doesnt have the stupid "you're a man" line like its Austin Powers

Solid trailer, but they still haven't fixed the CG of her face whenever the stunt double is fighting in slow mo. Distracting every time.
