Right, I wasn't saying that TDKR and SM3 are comparable at all -- I still really enjoy TDKR, even if it is sloppier than its predecessors. I only brought up SM3 because people make similar excuses for it -- Raimi wasn't even trying, he didn't care, he was deliberately sabotaging the movie, he just wanted out, etc. -- when the truth is both Raimi on that movie and Nolan on TDKR were working really hard to make the best movies they could. There was no autopilot.
