Honestly, I've never actively disliked the smell of tobacco. I still try to stay away from people/places with smoking for health reasons though.

People who think cigarettes smell worse then farts are silly, and this is coming from someone who is not only allergic to cigarette smoke, but also very sensitive

Cigarettes by far are the worst,they linger on your clothes and makes my nose stuffy.They also makes the smokers breath horrible and for me(sorry ladies) is unattractive.

Cigarettes because the smell is so much stronger. If someone walking in front of me on the sidewalk farts I'm probably not going to smell it and if I do I won't smell it for long. But if they're smoking then there's this constant awful odor.

Yep this nails it. Living with my brother, a smoker, for 4 years now... you could give me these two choices:

A) he goes upstairs for a smoke (as he normally does every 2 god damn hours)
B) he farts directly in my face

cigarettes smell so sour, they are one of the grossest smells. I never realized how much they stank until I stopped smoking them. 3 years since my last cigarette, and holy fuck they smell so strong.

To expand on my earlier posL

Every single time my brother smokes upstairs in his bedroom it ALWAYS reaches me in the livingroom downstairs and I have to open every single window and wrap my face up in a blanket for a good 5-10 minutes. I've been required to do this every 2 hours of my life for the past 4 years now, it's absolutely not a smell I can tolerate at all. Worse is when our jackass neighbors often smoke in the stairwell that's just across the hall from our apartment and it completely fills up my livingroom, god damn I despise them.


Farts are so so so variable, most of the time I hardly smell a thing. When it is bad it's like WOAHHH WHAT EVEN IS THAT but then it quickly passes and becomes more of a laugh. They've easily survivable.

My girlfriend had a full Sunday dinner yesterday. It doesn't smell too pleasant in here at the moment. But they can be comical as well. My 8 week old daughter is currently farting like a trooper in the room with us, that's making me laugh.
Used to love the smell of cigarette boxes, but the smoke taints everything.

I always forget how much GAF hates smoking lol.

As a former smoker I vastly prefer the smell of tobacco over somebody else's fart though. I mean, nobody enjoys being a bar/casino where everyone is smoking, but imagine that level of other people's ass aroma instead. Way worse.

Having said that, farts are certainly way more hilarious so that makes them a bit more bearable.
