Also, as a side note, just to toss this out there - I met my wife on an online dating website.

Of course, that was back in 2002. But still, probably a fairly similar environment, just with not as many people.

Most of the girls I have met online are pretty cool, this is just an exggeration. They all tell me they get messages like that often.

Glad to see so many agree this experiment misfired on all cylinders.

If you want to come across as vile you have to be very specific on your character flaws instead of having a catchall variety of flaws. just to put off the people who take profiles seriously. Everyone else who doesn't care about profiles will expect you to put up or shut up.

In terms of trying to make the worst profile ever? Probably some roided-up dude that just got out of prison, talking about how much of a pimp he is and how much coke he snorts.

In terms of making a profile that should be the worst ever but gets a surprising amount of responses? Yeah, some handsome dude that talks about how much money he has, but is a douchebag and a misogynist.

hers came across as quite lively and unique, confident and quirky and someone up for a bit of fun.
