I never understood why they didn't use Jim Cummings who was his official 2nd voice, even finishing Be Prepared for Jeremy after he had to stop due to his smoking IIRC.

And Jim did do the whole performance in Simba's Adventure on PS1, even redubbing all of his lines in the movie clips.

The casting is really baffling considering how many characters Cummings did for KH anyway. I think he and Corey Burton may have been having some kind of competition!

Kingdom hearts in general. Count Frollo, Clayton, Scar, Genie and Jafar. Raised on Disney films and couldn't enjoy the game when I heard them speak. They were good with others like Aladdin and Hades.

As people have said, I was pleasantly surprised how many original VAs they have gotten back over the years for KH*. I'm still surprised Gilbert Gottfried keeps coming back for Iago. I wonder who will replace Leonard Nimoy? Burton voicing Ansem, Yen Sid and Xehanort might be one too many.

*Hilariously, Steve Burton is the only one who seems to have stuck over the years out of FF KH1 cast. I'd give a kidney for Mandy Moore to come back as Aerith. I'm curious if she'll come back to voice Rapunzel for KH3. pleasevoiceAerithinFFVII:Rpleasepleaseplease I still can't believe how awful Mena Suvari was as Aerith in KHII. Wow.

I always get a laugh at this Emperor Palpatine voice from the Rebel Assault 2 ending. Dude didn't even attempt to sound like the Emperor.

Which is super baffling because other characters also had new lines or retakes (Like She-hulk changing the intonation on saying "This is bad!" in her lvl3) and only Cap sounds off.

That was Josh Keaton (Spectacular Spider-Man), not Drake Bell. Keaton was amazing, mind you.

He grew into the role thanks to EMH since his Vanilla MvC3 recording. You can tell by how Bloom sounds closer to his EMH performance than before in UMvC3.
