Edit: Arse, top of the page. Worst thing I've eaten was a hotdog in a mouldy bread roll. Took a nice big bite out of it, thought it tasted metallic while I was chewing then noticed this big pocket of green/grey/black mould with my teeth marks in and around it just as I'd swallowed.

I still inspect any bread I eat to this day.

If McDonalds is the worst thing you've ever eaten, you've not experienced true terror.

The worst thing I ever tried was some homemade cookies when I was about 13, made by the older brother of a friend. At the time I spat it out discreetly when he wasn't looking, they tasted really weird. I dumped the rest into a plant pot.

It was only when I was about 18 I realised they were probably pot cookies.

I can't think of an international food off the top of my head that I've rejected, but macaroni & cheese makes me gag whenever I tried to eat it, and it does not matter what "special way" your mom makes it, it's still gag inducing to me. I'm also not a fan of mayonnaise.

high five! I eat tinned tuna multiple times a week. So good, and great with ramen too!

For me the bad stuff is coconut. I'm fine with stuff like Kormas which use coconut, but the texture of raw coconut is terrible.
