I'm not surprised, I'm saying its retarded booking. It's just like Swagger, who was basically a midcarder who won the belt from Jericho out of nowhere. The crowd went completely mild when Del Rio won. If Del Rio was built up to have a ton of momentum, it would be one thing, but they let that candle burn out months ago.

I would say most of MITB cash ins (well the heel ones) have been made of wrestlers who weren't on any sort of a winning streak. With the Title, he may actually get a winning streak and be built up.

But then he would be wrestling Cena, so god knows.

I don't know how I feel about tonight, and wtf does Nash have to do with anything? So right now we have 3 guys on RAW who all have rematch clauses. Rey, Cena and Punk. I know one thing, they fucked up a good thing they built with Punk.

NASH
HHH
= Friends

Like I said, who gives a fuck about Nash. What is important is that Punk got dicked over.

This was the ONLY direction to really take this storyline though once they brought Punk back so soon. How long do you think they could have milked Punk running around trolling HHH/Vince with the fake/real title thing? It was set up for him to lose it, getting screwed gets his character over even more.

Sooo, both Punk and Christan lost their championships. Kelly Kelly managed to beat Beth and DB lost? I am not impressed WWE...
This is why anyone that paid the WWE money for tonight's PPV made a SERIOUS mistake.

Punk got dicked over, cena got dicked over. We all witnessed what shall now be known as the LA screwjob

Honestly if WWE actually develops this and gives this whole cena/punk thing this extra depth without ruining it, then bravo because I'm (and we) are getting tired of the same all thing, would be nice to have some depth.

Clearly convoluted melodrama is what we want over the amazing promos we've been getting from Punk and Cena. It's not as though people were already loosing interest in it because of the COO bullshit before last weeks promo kicked things off again.

People are talking out of their arses if they're complaining about the Bryan loss though.

You are going to get an amazing Promo from Punk on this tomorrow.

For all the people calling foul on the ending, overall I thought this was an enjoyable PPV.

It's the first one I experienced with the Wrassle GAF universe while watching and posting live.

I don't regret buying it all all.

I had a blast. :)

Don't worry. They get mad anytime Punk gets beat

I don't know, I think that last promo at the contract signing was basically the breaking point. If they continued they'd seriously be repeating themselves. It's best to leave that on a high note, and hope that this something new reaches that level.

Nash is the best. I hope he's on the WM card. Best case scenario, him and The Giant team up.
goldberg is returning also so we now have a good match confirmed for WM28 (nash/golberg II)

giant can be ring side

Yeah. I mean we pretty much knew Del Rio was coming in. But Nash - WTF?

Yea, even the commentators announced Del Rio was cashing in today at the beginning of the PPV.

Simple run in Cash In vs Nash return destroys Punk cash in

Punk-Cena was a great great match (a better MATCH than their MITB one) until the absolute clusterfuck ending. Which actually would have been completely fine if Punk had actually won clean. The only part of the ending I can't comprehend is why they did a "foot on the ropes" finish. For one, they JUST did that finish two months ago with the World title. And two, it doesn't help either man. It doesn't do anything for Cena. It doesn't make Punk look good that he needs the ref to fuck up. Especially when he's about to get punked out by a run-in.

This would have been a fine finish without that stupid end to the match. At least Nash was legitimately unpredictable.

Timing is wrong for ADR, too, but we all knew it was likely to happen.

Lots of "great matches with stupid finishes" tonight.

Totally how I feel.

There's no win for moving things forward if either Cena or Punk win.

This way, they both remain relevant and the title doesn't need to be in the mix.
The weird thing is EVERYONE predicted this. All this week

"How will Punk be screwed"
"How will ADR win"
"I hate HHH"

No one saw Nash coming in, and they could do a lot of shit tomorrow night. We don't even know if HHH is in on it yet.

For the first time since MiTB neither Punk or Cena are predictable as hell.

Wait, I thought it was Punk Vs. Cena who just represented THE CORPORATION . with HHH in the middle now. Cena can go back to destroying heels and kissing babies. while RAW for once will have a second arc that is actually relevant and is for the wrestling fans.

I'm not even mad at the overall ending. As long as Cena is not Champ I'm good.

What does piss me the fuck off though is that Punk can't beat Cena "clean". Like for real WWE? You can't just let the man get a clean one in? Not a single fucking one? And why do I get the feeling that when Cena and Punk go at it again for the WWE title that Cena will pin Punk legit, leaving no questions of who the better of the two is? *sigh*

PPV was pretty meh, especially in comparison to MITB. Could have been a lot worse though, so I'm not gonna moan about it.

WWE is truly challenging the internet world..

That's why most of the MITB title runs were pretty fucking pathetic. Outside of Edge's original win, it's all been pretty bad. even when Punk won the title the first time with MITB, he was basically jobbing during his title run.

I don't get the point, if they were going to give it to Del Rio, then they should have built him up. Instead, he was in a title tourney, and lost clean in the first round? Lost clean to Edge at Wrestlemania. Lost to Christian. And various other lame ass matches over the last few months.

If they were going to book this, then he should have been on run, and maybe made the finals in the title tourney before some unforeseen circumstances going his way. If Rey was going to get the rematch, have Rey fluke his way into the title in the tourney finals against Del Rio, and then Del Rio puts Rey away tomorrow as revenge WITH the belt.

But then again, that would make too much common sense to actually have the guy who wins the belt not lose almost every other week the last several months.

Great reaction at the end when he got the belt BTW. The crowd was totally into it. Not. Maybe if they built him up better like when he originally debuted.

Same here brah. Just pissed that Del Rio wins the title because he is Mexican and they are going there in two months. They took our jerbs.

I'm a HUGE Punk fan. (check my post history on the subject)

But I also understand why this had to happen to move things forward.

Like Ninja said, there is a reason that Punk had to get screwed to move things forward over say, Diesel Jack Knife Power Bombing Cena.

It puts the Punk over a lot more that way.

PPV was solid.

Exactly, Del Rio cashing in today was expected. Nash wasn't. Using Nash was brilliant, playing up the HHH connection.

People are just pissed Punk lost, when the result just provides us a way to continue onto another great feud for Punk. And he has soo much promo material to work with.

I think we can all agree at least one good thing came out of the PPV....Steph is back, it needed a Mcmahon that wasn't Vince to spice things up again

I'm mad Punk lost the title, but I can't wait for Raw tomorrow. You got me Vince, you son of a bitch.
pretty much this. I really hope they answer all the unanswered questions from tonight. WTF is Steph doing, Kevin Nash why u mad son, Cena got screwed? Triple H in on it? Beth can't beat a bimbo?

In a more positive note

Tenille Dashwood hurt her arm. She also has to wait a year to go to FCW because of Visa, but she sure is pretty. And has an Aussie accent. Dibs.

Punk not the only one who holds grudges?
It was Wade's nexus. Because they were going to feud because Nash said some things in a shoot interview, and then he got arrested for beating up a dude for hitting on his girlfriend.

Cena has no more rematch claus.....Oh wait its cena, I forgot, he's got unlimited continues

A, B, B, A, Select?

I think finishes over the title have been way too predictable. The randomness of Nash showing up was an excellent swerve. ADR swooping in for the pieces wasn't a surprise, but I'm okay with it.

In other news: DAT JACKNIFE!!! Nash bombed the living shit outta Punk. And, not gonna lie, I'm jumped off my couch and marked the FUCK out. For me, that was pure brilliance...

After Summerslam went off the air, Ricardo Rodriguez came out on the stage telling everyone to get up and cheer for the new champion Alberto Del Rio.

After Alberto left CM Punk got up to standing ovation. As he walked up the ramp, Punk's music hit.

Pffft, they bring out Ricardo after they go off the air? PFFFFFT. PFFFFT I say.

Kevin Nash. One of the best mouth pieces in wrestling. A guy who knows shit loads about wrestling. A guy who begged TNA to push MCMG and Beer Money and Eric Young.

Who said he's going to wrestle? Maybe he's the GM. Maybe him and HHH will just throw people at Punk and Cena.
