Hey, I do too, just saying, a few posts aga you said ECW is going to suck

and now Al Snow is coming back for ECW.

:D

It could be good, and it could be bad.

I think Al's just coming back for the one show. He's really busy with OVW.

I still don't hold up much hope for ECW as a stand alone product. It's going to be some old, beat up ECW guys and the WWE cast offs they didn't want on Raw or Smackdow..or hell even Heat!

From WWE.com

Two Divas were injured Monday night on RAW. Beth Phoenix suffered a fractured mandible when Victoria struck her during their match on RAW. The new RAW Diva is being taken to a local medical facility and will need oral surgery.

Also, Lilian Garcia was shaken up Monday night on RAW after being inadvertently knocked off the ring apron by Charlie Haas. It appears Lilian suffered a sprained wrist, however, she is being taken to a local medical facility for X-rays.

Why would anyone order ONS II...it serioulsy looks like shit esp compared to last years card.

different strokes for different folks..

i enjoyed (and own) last years ECW on dvd..

but this years i am anticipating much more.. it reads like a big 4 style PPV with all the championship matches, big names, interpromotional matches, etc... its going to be a good kick off for the new ECW, IMO.

also, ecw/smackdown combined shows will be a great bargain.. will make going to one of those awesome, you get to see two brands shows for 1 ticket.

Actually, the card doesn't look that bad.

Just compared to last year's it looks like shit.

They'd BETTER pony up for the rights for "Enter Sandman". That was the best "moment" of all last year. It's SOOO ****ed up on the DVD.

I'm pretty sure they will...although they don't pay for themes on DVD...Stacy always comes out to some generic shit too..odd.

They do that to Flair too.
The whole Sandman thing was especially bad because they edited out the crowd singing along too. That was a massive ball of suck.

I (*deep moment of thought*) agree with EnvoyDenali about ECW (O_o WTF?). The PPV won;t be as much fan service as last year but it will most probably give the new ECW a good kick start if done right. However, if they **** it up I will be the first to shout and moan about it (Outcast will probably beat me to it though)...

:) I guess we are best good friends now hey buddy?!

You guys care so much about "done right" or "done wrong".. you are totally missing the enjoyment of it all... Halloween 3 was a ****ed up piece of shit, but I am a huge fan of the entire halloween series and still enjoy 3 for what it is... or i just wouldnt watch it.

and do we really need another ECW fan service?? what for? there is a new ECW show starting, they need to kick it off.. it wont be the old ECW, so why have re-hashed old ECW guys wrestling each other just to change it next week with the TV show? sometimes you guys that bitch constantly are right on the money, othertimes you just dont think before complaining... a show like last years would make no sense and confuse the consumer/audience as to the new ECW product.

Since they are bringing back ECW, they should've really considered NOT using the One Night Stand moniker for this PPV. Since it's the launching pad for the new ECW, anything along the lines of Rebirth, Return, First Blood Part 2, etc. would've probably been better. If nothing else, you would've avoided the increasing "compared to the last ONS this card is garbage" feelings among the fanbase.

Also - I don't think you do what seems like the same show a few days earlier, though I'm guessing the WWEvsECW show will feature the ever popular "make tag team matches out of your PPV matches" formula - i.e. any Raw or SD before a PPV.

And oh yes - what DOES everybody want?

The following is from WWE.com:

Three matches for the WWE vs. ECW Head to Head special have been confirmed. The matches, which can be seen live this Wednesday on USA Network at 9/8 CT, are as follows:

WWE Champion John Cena vs. Sabu
In a battle of brawling specialists, RAW's John Cena will get a taste of the extreme atmosphere when he takes on ECW legend Sabu in one-on-one action.

World Champion Rey Mysterio vs. Rob Van Dam
SmackDown's Rey Mysterio will engage in high-risk combat with Mr. Money in the Bank Rob Van Dam as both men attempt to build momentum heading into One Night Stand.

20-Man Battle Royal WWE vs. ECW
Mick Foley, Edge, Big Show, Mark Henry, Carlito and Shelton Benjamin are just some of the Superstars that will represent WWE in the 20-man Battle Royal. Team ECW will be represented by Kurt Angle, Terry Funk, Tommy Dreamer, Balls Mahoney, Al Snow and more as WWE and ECW battle for the first time in this type of environment.

Momentum and bragging rights will be on the line as WWE and ECW go head to head just four days before One Night Stand. Don't miss WWE vs. ECW Head to Head Wednesday on USA Network at 9/8 CT.

Rey vs RVD should be amazing if its given enough time... Sabu vs RVD should be interesting if nothing else. The battleroyal will also be interesting.

**** I jsut watched 4 minutes of John Cena talking.. he is the biggest tool I have ever seen.

I just caught the ECW guys taking the ring when RVD and Cena were signing the contract.... What the hell has happened to Sabu? I've seen him hit the arabian face buster from farther before. It looked like he pussed out at the last second and instead botched the spot horribly.
