Great show - because you CARED about it. Very emotional from top to bottom - and look what happens when you have good commentary as well moving things along.

It was like 1997 all over again. Every match/segment had a purpose and everyone put EFFORT into it.

-Classic Foley Promo
-Big Show jumped to ECW
-Jazz vs Micke James

-Sabu vs RVD which was entertaining because RVD got beat down for 7 minutes.
-Some of the best commentating i've EVER seen during a wrestling event. Styles and Tazz started to shoot on the WWE hard. We also got "Attitude Era" Lawler with tons of great one-liners, and all his heel greatness.

That's what I felt also. And for the first time since the announcement, I'm actually excited for this Sunday's PPV.
I feel like Heyman still has the creativity to do something great about the "new" ECW, even if the rules are a little different. I mean, he did turn OVW upside down, and it wasn't because of random thumbtacks and barbwire matches.

1. RIP John Tenta... I never really liked him as Earthquake, but I became a fan of is when they shaved half of his head in WCW and his promo was like "I'm no shark... I'm not a fish. I'm a man" and then he wrestled under his own name. I too thought he was way older than 42, but either way, it sucks that he is gone. HOWEVER, he did not "destroy" the Warrior... NO ONE can destroy that which is undestroyable.
2. If the new ECW had Ultimate Warrior, Styles would be blowing him unconditionally. Hell, if they made JR an ECW superstar, he'd be all GOOD OLD JR MY FAVORITE ECW PERSONALITY. So even if he's ripping on the Warrior, deep down he wishes two things:
a) That ECW had the star power of someone like Warrior
b) That he COULD BE Warrior.
