Nameless, please stop fantasy booking all the time. That's cool. It's just a standard prediction. But then... What the **** is this? This isn't GameFAQs.

I liked Heyman's comments on TNA, especially "they don't matter. I wish they mattered, but they dont."The ****ing truth. It's incredible how much they skate around just making Samoa Joe their big star or not. One day he dominates everyone, the next day Sting is the big guy. Joe might seem like a main eventer this show, the next show he's not even there. It's ****ed up and hard to watch as a fan.

And what the hell happened to AJ Styles? These days you forget the guy is even in the company, and he's the most entertaining guy they've got in the ring.

WWE got popular by sucking it up and putting Stone Cold and the Rock out there as their stars. There was no ****ing question that these guys were the new stars of the show, and past stars started to fall down to the midcard as they should. **** TNA.

I know how ya feel. Just a few months ago they were doing great, but it seems lately they are so wrapped up with Sting and Steiner that they are letting their real workers get pushed to the wayside. Focus on X-divison and not roided-out Scotty Steiner.

I could see AJ vs Daniels for another year and be happy with it. But for what ever ****ed up reason they stick them as a TAG TEAM!!! I remember Air Raid from WCW... AJ is much better on hs own.

The best TNA Impact match they've ever put on. It's a wild spot-fest with no story, but given Impact is only an hour long, that's how all the matches should be. Just one hour of guys throwing out their moves and showing everyone what they've got. TNA isn't in a position right now to be putting on squash jobber matches and trying to sell PPVs. They just need to get people watching at all.

LMFAO, sorry I can't help it

As far as TNA, their problem is that they have a pretty sizeable roster, but only one hour of TV each week. Hopefully, they'll get another 30 minutes to an hour this fall if they keep delivering strong ratings, because with only an hour its almost impossible to focus on a crop of guys you want to make the face of your company, without all but ignoring the majority of the roster.

We all know they live for their PPVs, so they trying to give everyone atleast decent build up for the pay per view each month. You can basically say they're working with 45 minutes, because Nash is going to give himself 15mins a show.

And WTF.. Gamefaqs has a Wrestling Board?

and tna will gleefully ignore it and push kevin nash

Like idiots they gave Nash creative control is his contract, so there is not much they can do if they want to use him at all. That was almost as dumb as WCW giving Nash lead booking duties. The fact he booked himself to give Goldberg his first loss was the greatest thing ever though.

No one should be suprised that Nash imposed himself on the best best part of TNA, the X-Division.

I see no problem with this.

He's the most entertaining guy on their show now, which is sad.

Agreed on both accounts. Ah, the dies of the fake "Goldberg" chants piped in through the PA system. And then Gillberg :lol

I might be the only one, but I wouldn't mind seeing Austin vs. Hogan at WM.

it's a workrate nightmare, but if they did it right...well, I doubt anyone would care.

as an aside, holy shit are the wrestling threads active recently--500-some replies on a constant basis since april, and a pace that'll probably break 1500 this week

:D We Won't Die.

I really dont' care to see Austin and Hogan...it's a good match for the card but in all honesty I'd rather Michaels and The Rock...oh god :).

Wrestlemania 19 is the best "new era" wrestlemania. fact.

:lol my mom just gave me this weird look when she saw Vito in the dress, then she said wow he doesn't look half bad in it.

Why not? Flair made a hobby of it during his matches in the past year.

****...Henry on Smackdown. Why hasn't this fatass had a heart attack yet?

Scotty skinned the kitty :(

Oh **** you Paul Heyman you broke up one of the best dynamic announce teams Tazz/Cole :(. Wow ECW boo's already...I don't have high hopes for it and they better stop ****ing with WWE talent, the point is to bring your own and raise new stars.

Please replace Tazz with Josh Matthews

So, I just found out Sky wont be showing ECW's weekly show live and I got to wait till Satarday night to watch the thing :(

We get RAW at the same time as the US. We get Smackdown about 5 hours before the US but we get ECW 4 days late? **** that shit!

move or watch it on the net.

Henry's not too bad lately. He's finally being booked well; he just comes out, beats someone's ass and leaves. Usually it's a jobber or a mid-carder, so it's not like he's detracting from the show too much. At least not right now.

Otherwise, the rest of the show was decent for what it was. King Booker and his feud with Lashley is coming along well. The match itself between Regal and Lashley was pretty decent. Super Crazy and Kendrick put on a solid match (I'd just love to see them on ECW where they wouldn't be fodder for Khali). It was cool that they finally accomplished building up the Sabu/Rey match at least once before going into the pay per view. And, of course, Mr. Kennedy came back. Hopefully he varies up his mic work a little bit and hasn't abandoned his old finisher altogether.

Overall a watchable show for the second week in a row.

WOW Smackdown sucked. I've actually enjoyed it more than Raw for months due to better booking, but now the roster is in horrible shape. And they STILL don't let Matt Hardy on. :lol :( :lol :( I miss 2002-2003...

A few things were fun though:

- The Lephracaun taking back Sabu's table. :lol I wasn't expecting that.

- The 3 white dudes waving their arms during Scotty 2 Hotty's entrance. :lol I'm gonna do that when Smackdown comes here.

- Kendrick vs. Super Crazy was cool. Psychosis was funny being freaked out by Khali. He grabbed that A/V dude who was like WTF. :lol

- Michael Cole calling Tazz fat and Tazz's reaction. :lol

Was anyone else disappointed by Kennedey's return? They could've made a bigger deal out of it.

At least you'll have the opportunity to know if it sucks or not before possibly wasting an hour on it.

And really, **** TV. Wrestling is so much better downloaded where you can fast forward through all the shit and not have to deal with promos for shitty Kane movies, squash matches, stupid sports-entertainment bullshit and commercials.

The Game has the Spirit
June 9, 2006

The office of the Chairman of WWE has just announced that Triple H will face the entire Spirit Squad in a five-on-one Handicap Match this Monday night on RAW.

The announcement comes on the heels of Triple H’s latest example of blatant defiance of Mr. McMahon’s authority, which ended with the Chairman being knocked out cold with his pants around his ankles after The Game refused to join the Kiss My Ass Club.

Its finally going to happen.......

ugh the same shit different week...RAW = ZzZzzz lately. Dare I say it that I enjoyed Smackdown more this week!? Both don't compare to the ECW show, but RAW has been boring as hell lately.

Why does anyone give a shit about this?

So HHH and HBK will start wearing green and black and crotch chop at Vince a lot. So what?

This doesn't even include the fact that the only heels they have to go up against are the goddamn Spirit Squad.

i agree and i disagree.. while i love RAW, sometimes I prefer the nature of smackdown more..

RAW really builds up feuds in a drawn out, over and over type of way.. where you see the same main eventers/guys ALL the time..

you see alot more faces, allot more matches, etc in the same amount of time on Smackdown IMO... smackdown reminds me alot about what I liked in watching WWF back in the late 90's, with alot of people coming out at various times so you'd likely get to see someone you dont see too often or some character that you love, etc...

smackdown tonight was alot of fun.. they'll be fine, maybe better off, now that they are giving booker more time and his extended feud with lashley is really going to start putting lashley over..

the leprechaun is awesome, finlay is awesome..

I don't think I have seen this here...

December 2001: Vince McMahon steps out of a snowy night into a diner in upstate New York for a meeting with old friend Phil Thomson, now a highly placed government official. Thomson has a strange proposition: creating a new covert black-ops group using the Superstars of World Wrestling Entertainment. The WWE's talented men and women are perfect. Highly skilled athletes with the ideal cover, they travel all across the country and the globe; no one would find it unusual to find them in a town one day and gone the next. The government would train and support the wrestlers in every way possible except one: no one must know the truth. March 2006: The Superstars have been handed their latest assignment - take down a commercial-grade methyl-amphetamine plant that is bankrolling terrorist activities in Europe. Their mission seems simple and straightforward, until a member of their team is taken prisoner. Now all that they've worked so hard for is in jeopardy, and one of their own might be killed...

This is nutty, I will buy it when it hits the 5 dollar bins, if this is happening in 2001 who will be the heros (other than Vince and Steph)

TNA 'HARDCORE WAR' IN PHILLY RESULTS; TWO STARS PUBLICLY TURN DOWN OFFERS FROM WWE
by Buck Woodward @ 4:06:00 AM on 6/10/2006

Quick results from Friday night's "Hardcore War" TNA Event at the New Alhambra Arena (ECW Arena) in South Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. We will have a more detailed report and thoughts on the show later today:

- Shark Boy defeated Simon Diamond with the Dead Sea Drop.

- Jay Lethal defeated Sonjay Dutt with a released Dragon Suplex.

- Abyss defeated Brother Runt (Spike Dudley) after a Black Hole Slam into thumbtacks.

- Traci defeated Gail Kim with a rollup. Christy Hemme was the special referee. All three women lost their tops during the match, including Hemme, who voluntarily stripped to her bra after the bout.

- Rhino defeated Jeff Jarrett with a Gore after ducking a guitar shot. On the mic, Rhino said he was offered a contract to go back to WWE, but that he had decided to stick with TNA.

- Petey Williams defeated Jerry Lynn with the Canadian Destroyer.

- X Division Champion Samoa Joe defeated AJ Styles and Christopher Daniels in a three-way match when he choked out Styles.

- America's Most Wanted came out and attacked Daniels & Styles, then challenged any team to take them on. The lights went out, and when they came back on, The James Gang were in the ring. They ridiculed the fans, until Team 3D appeared on screens in the arena and cut a promo. Team 3D then entered through the crowd, and a four-on-two match took place, consisting mostly of wild brawling through the crowd. When they returned to the ring, Brother Ray called for the fans to throw chairs into the ring (ala the famous Terry Funk moment). Hundreds of chairs were flung into the ring. When things settled down, BG James got on the mic and said the fans had just cost themselves "a hell of a finish" and walked off. The match ended with no actual decision being announced, although Brother Ray announced Team 3D as the winners.

- Team 3D stayed on the mic for a while, thanking the fans and then brought out AJ Styles & Christopher Daniels and proclaimed them the "future" of wrestling. Brother Runt came back out, and pulled out a WWE contract, saying WWE had offered him the chance to wrestle for ECW for "one night only". He then tore up the contract, saying that he was sticking with TNA.

So Rhino's staying put....just like I said he would.

The best thing spike dudley ever did was get pressed into the crowd.

And i doubt the contract was for one night only, especially with the relaunch of ecw happening.

To be fair though Daniels makes a much better partner than Air Paris. But yeah I'd much rather see these guys wrestle as singles too. Especially in a fued against Low Ki. Preferably Daniels. They need to make up for that shitty match a few PPVs back.

Lol, no shit. IMO AJ vs Daniels was one of the best feuds of the last decade. So fuilled with animosity and great matches. It's amazing to me that they just toss all that history to the wayside so they can make their own X-divsion version of the Mega Powers.

I KNOW Ki and Daniels can tear shit up. Just let them work!

I think TNA is doing things all wrong with that contract stuff. If they are trying to get people on there sides by saying bad stuff about ECW it wont work as it look like Paul is doing everything he can to make the new ECW apeeal to the old crowd as well as a new crowd...

...I would love to know how the crowd reacted to that or how the crowd would react if they pull the same stupid stunt in a month or two.

at least they are addressing all the rumors about people jumping ship back to the mighty WWE.

TNA is just saving some face by saying that their guys ARE their guys...and it's going to stay that way.

Rhino has potential...just get him out of the midcard crap.

I don't think its smart for some of the former WWE, current TNA guys to burn their bridges like that. Many people burned their bridges during the whole WCW vs. WWE thing, and it ended up costing them a potential gig once WCW went under. I'm sure Luger wishes he didn't pull that stunt where he appeared on Nitro the night after he worked a WWE PPV.
