pussy end to the match...should've let RVD win on his own but Vince probably has too much pride to allow it to happen like that. At least they let RVD win, didn't think that would happen.

Well see, Heyman is no ref. I have a funky feeling that they are gonna give this the Montreal treatment.

Another Kane title switch.

The PPV was pretty good, if unmemorable and a bit empty feeling, but this victory just feels really, really WWE. We can all already predict what's going to happen on Raw tomorrow. It sucks.

Yes that, and the other world title match feels very WWE. Well, this is the NEW ECW and we have to learn to love it.

tell me cause I'm confused about it...I hope the old WWE (undisputed) title comes out of all of this.

eh i see heyman creating a title saying that rob did win, and wwe takes their belt back and then the 2 brands are seperate.

I thought this ppvs matches were better than last years (which rode a lot of nostalgia hype)

It's not the match itself, it's just the obvious "he isn't a real ref" angle to revert the title somehow. That's the sort of shit that ECW never did, and it's retarded that we'll have to deal with it. **** Vince's ECW.

ONS was never Paul's ECW, we have to wait till Tuesday or a few Tuesdays down the line to get the right vision of his new ECW and really see how much of it is really his doing and how much Vince is making him do...

tomorrow's raw will be mostly promos. seriously, between the inevitable edge promo where he says he's the #1 contender and the wwe title should go to him, the rvd/cena promo, and dx...well.

Big props to Rey for having a great (3/4 of a) match with Sabu after his crapfest last year. I knew he was going to have to work pretty hard/well to get the support of the crowd. They really respected the effort not to boo that ending.

It's a shame both title matches had cop-out endings.

Sabu/Rey, and the two tag matches = best matches of the night.

If you think about it, its really the only thing they could have done to keep both sides happy. Cena can do the "i got screwed" thing tommorow, get the belt back, while RVD tonight could live in the moment with winning the title and the ECW fans can go home happy and not riot...even the commentary was sort of WWE-ish, during the title match. Blah! I could have spent 40 bucks on something better I think.

Yeah really, I wasn't expecting much for Rey and Sabu...just because I for some reason thought they wouldn't work well together, and they said something different. Great match for both, despite the WWE type ending.

What's the problem with RVD winning cleanly after interference from Edge? Why not have RVD trash the stupid ****ing spinner belt at the first ECW event and give Cena a new belt on Raw? There's no point in the sports-entertainment finish other than Vince showing everyone that ECW will always be second place and he's got too much of an ego to use his belt to ECW's advantage (but he obviously has no problems being champion himself or Cena making his stupid spinner belt out of it or any of the other ridiculous things he's done with the belt). It's the same shit that ruined the WCW invasion.

not sure if it was planned, but after the first table spot during the Rey/Sabu match, Nick Patrick did the X sign so maybe Sabu bit Rey's nuts.

Well, there's nothing wrong with RVD winning cleanly. Hell I wanted that, but I guess I just put myself in Vince's shoes...he's gotta please both the ECW hardcore, the wrestling fans, and the Sports Entertainment fans, but also not ruin his big title match for Vengeance. Perhaps its a three way dance now with Cena overcoming the...well, you know the rest.

You should be banned for posting that pic.

Except it was absolutely appropriate in the manner it was used.

Decent show, I don't see many other ways that it could have ended with both sides 'happy.' There had to be some sort of contested finish, and lets be honest, for ECW, that could be considered a clean win.

I highly doubt anyone on the ECW side is happy, unless this somehow spirals into something completely unpredictable.
