almost all new smartphones on Sprint require the premium data add-on, so no doubt a potential iPhone would too.JesseZao said:They started charging $10 more for "true" unlimited when the EVO came out. I'm assuming the iphone would require this plan too. Hopefully, Sprint will keep unlimited plans since they like to tout it in their ads.
iPhone 4 on Virgin Mobile! OMG!bean breath said:One step closer to prepaid? Cheap iphone on Virgin next please.
yes, yes it is.claviertekky said:I think he's referring to SERO-P (Premium) which is a plan that costs $10 or $20 (4G) per month more than the original SERO plan ($30/month)
Still a bargain though for a single user.
Dali said:Fuck I hope this isn't true. Although I haven't had any problems Sprint's network is already comparatively small and less capable than their competitors. I don't want to have my smooth and speedy unlimited data usage ruined by a bunch of iPhone people jumping ship from AT&T.

Me too, but I'm happy with my EVO 3D.Marius_ said:Just when I get a new phone, fuck

http://www.macrumors.com/2011/09/04/best-buy-expects-sprint-iphone-5-in-1st-week-of-october/Though this could likely be Best Buy reading the same rumors as the rest of us, the company is anticipating that the iPhone 5 will be available for pre-order during the first week of October. BGR points to an internal memo:
"Thanks to a leaked document from a Best Buy source, we have discovered that Best Buy and Best Buy Mobile stores are anticipating taking preorders for the iPhone 5 starting in the first week of October. Whats a tad bit more interesting, however, is the mention (and further anticipation) that Sprint will be carrying the iPhone 5 at launch."
Best Buy warns, of course, that dates may change. A report that Sprint will also be carrying the iPhone 5 was recently revealed by the Wall Street Journal.
Meanwhile, ThisIsMyNext reports that Best Buy is also expecting a new "Apple Fixture Installation" on Friday, October 21st.
"To be clear, this isnt a run-of-the-mill installation for the big box our tipster tells us that the request that a manager be on-hand at 6AM is out of the ordinary (they usually show up at 7AM for inventory), and that a similar arrangement was scheduled for the iPhone 4 launch."
The new fixture could represent signs and displays for the iPhone 5 which has been rumored to launch at some point in October.

Sounds like the decision is already made...BoboBrazil said:Wow, this is awesome. Sprint is finally getting some good phones. It will be a hard choice between the Iphone 5 and the Galaxy S 2 though. The S2 has a 4.5 inch screen on Sprint and seems really nice at $200 after contract. It also has 4G, which I doubt the Iphone will have.

claviertekky said:Somehow I doubt Sprint will raise prices. A number of users for Android and Windows Phone already consume a ton of data. Why would the iPhone make the much of a difference?

JacksUsername said:Yeah, it would be great if it came and forced Sprint to expand their 4G coverage. I've had no problems with Sprint over the years, but all their phones worth owning right now are 4G and I have no coverage in my area whatsoever.
Yo...that really is a great phone.Wads said:Evo 3D is fing badass... Amazon Wireless has it for 50 bucks right now if anybody wants to jump on the Sprint bandwagon now. I need a phone now so I can't wait for iPhone, but hopefully good news for the future (and hopefully it doesn't ruin the network..).
Sprint Nextel Corp. (S) will offer Apple Inc. (AAPL)s iPhone next month with unlimited data service plans to distinguish itself from rivals AT&T Inc. (T) and Verizon Wireless, according to people familiar with the matter.
Sprint, the third-largest U.S. wireless carrier, plans to begin selling the device in mid-October under a deal with Apple for the next model, the iPhone 5, said the people, who wouldnt be identified because the plans arent public. Becoming the countrys only operator to offer the device with unlimited data service for a flat fee may help Sprint draw customers from AT&T and Verizon Wireless, which already carry the phone, they said.
He may have taken a self-inflicted ban for some period of time. I saw him mention it in another thread as something he as considering.giga said:Numble?![]()
I'm going to have to think long and hard about whether I stick with AT&T or jump ship to Sprint. Assuming it's a single world phone for all carriers, I think Sprint is going to have the most aggressive plans out there.

http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2011-...ata-with-iphone-5-to-stand-out-from-pack.htmlTo prepare for the introduction, Sprint has postponed the September debut of a rival smartphone that uses fourth- generation, or 4G, wireless technology, said one person familiar with the situation.
What does suicide feel like? Can you end the ban at anytime by just contacting a mod?RubxQub said:He may have taken a self-inflicted ban for some period of time. I saw him mention it in another thread as something he as considering.
Hopefully I haven't started a suicide cult or anything like that!
Sucks, but for me was necessary.Greyface said:What does suicide feel like? Can you end the ban at anytime by just contacting a mod?

If they hold true on their unlimited everything for $80, I'm in. Would save $45 a month, easily.
