WSJ: Mike Flynn Offers to Testify in Exchange for Immunity

So that BREAKING tweet is now nullified with his update?

Im a lowly Canadian, I dont get how you guys work

Its still a true tweet, one was about the House the other is the Senate and FBI. The original statement was referring to the senate and FBI apparently, the House Intel committee is a farce now.

Is it possible Nunes received the offer and withheld it from everyone else? Idk how it works but that's kinda what it sounds like from the limited info available.

Regardless of if Flynn asked for immunity or not, I wouldn't read too much into it. The IT guy who managed Hillary's private server requested immunity in exchange for testimony as well and it turned out that nothing nefarious was revealed.

Flynn most likely wants to play it safe. Without immunity, he could get caught up in something inconsequential.
This too.
Flynn would have a bad lawyer if he didn't ask for immunity off the bat

Look, I'll be honest with you. I WANT there to be a conspiracy. I want it real fucking bad. But wanting something doesn't make it so. There are people in this thread already calling Trump a traitor. It's a little premature, imo.

Sigh. Listen man just PM me with a number. Do you pro rate it depending on tone?

Like five bucks if you're only asking questions, ten bucks for gaslighting, fifteen for a bunch of articles cobbled together from various and sundry RT affiliates etc? Hit me up with the deets mang.

There are two different legislatures. The Senate and the House of Representatives. They each have separate investigations, but the House one is the one that's totally in Trump's pocket (see the Nunes clusterfuck of the past week). However, like people have said, the Senate and FBI are also running far more legitimate investigations.

See, this is exactly what I'm talking about. You, sir, are a cheerleader.

I mean, maybe the problem is actually that your argument sucks and is poorly stated!

Do you think there's zero percent chance that figures close to Trump may have committed crimes?

If so, why?

Does the tinfoil cause allergies? I'm asking because you'd be a great subject for a voluntary medical study.

Just curious how old are you? I'm 32 and I feel like this is the 2nd biggest world event I've lived through apart from 9/11. This is not the left's version of the what the right has done for the past 8 years. This is fucked up! This is NOT normal government in any way. No offense, you've seemed somewhat open minded in this thread, but it seems like you want the conspiracy to not be real more than you want it to be real.

Nunes literally ran to the White House in the dead of night over some weak info, imagine how he'd react to some tasty Flynn info implicating those closer to Trump.

If that's all the letter said I'd be with you. But this whole "boy does he have a story to tell" teaser definitely sounds like more than inconsequential stuff.

Tinfoil or no, I ain't selling out my country for free. I got standards, I'm a goddamn American. Also, so WAS it ten for the gas lighting there? If I string this along do you make more? The least you could do is split it with me.

Did you read the first sentence in the letter?

People don't want to let their imaginations run wild and they are accused of being paid Russian trolls.

Some of you need to tone down the rhetoric.

This is not a good understanding of my position! You're the one stating that this is not a valid reason to go after Trump. That's a very strong claim!

If Trump or those close to him are potentially guilty of treason, surely that's a valid reason to go after him. So the only reason this would not be an appropriate angle of attack is if you're extremely confident that they aren't guilty.

So where does your confidence come from?

No.

How asymptotic of me, right?

So, if there's a chance that Trump and his cabinet may have committed crimes, why is this not a valid issue?

Watching the Prisoner's Dilemma play out amongst Trump's inner circle is fascinating.

Is it time to start a pool on when Mike Pence is sworn in as President?

Or maybe he had foreseen Flynn doing this?

Doesn't the timeline make it seem more like Nunes got a call from the whitehouse about info (which just turned out to be recordings of people talking about Trump), and followed WH orders from there?

Even Flynn knows the House Committee would have done nothing.

immunity is the magic word as that creates an implication of a wrong doing being committed. this is stark contrast to him offering to merely come in and talk or falling on the sword himself or try to say no one did anything illegal
