WWDC10 Thread of iPhones and iProducts galore

Since Steve didn't say otherwise (read: didn't brag about it), I'm assuming we have the same amount of RAM.

at that pixel density i would've appreciated a slightly larger display size.

Me too, but I'm not exactly their market. Just checking out the news here and looking. I still don't care for the bezel/antenna. Lot of wasted space at the top and bottom of the iPhone, from my perspective. Would have thought they would have gone for a 4 inch display instead of 3.5".

I don't like the industrial design of the new phone but that screen i wants it and holly shit at the battery life, my 3gs was just a stop gap to the awesome =(

Maybe I need to watch the video of the demo here to understand this Gyro feature, but doesn't the current touch/iphone already do this since you can tilt it and all?

Sorry for the dumb question.

Anyone have a small breakdown of the changes on this iphone vs the existing iphone vs whats currently available through other carriers big phone?

People are saying pictures look sexy.

...please be true.

You guys have no idea how huge it is they considered low light. I am seriously considering breaking my contract with Sprint and getting my iPhone a year early.

5 megapixels? Should be bigger imo.

But nice @ recognizing megapixels are not the answer for great quality, just part of the solution.

More megapixels with the same sensor size makes noise worse. I personally am glad they don't try to go to 8 MP.

10:55AM "In addition to that, when most people increase megapixels they make them smaller, but we've kept ours the same size. They don't capture less photons. 5x digital zoom, tap to focus, and we've got an LED flash."

10:54AM "Now everybody loves to talk about megapixels, but we tend to ask the question how do we make better pictures? Megapixels are nice, but what these cameras are really about is capturing photons and low light photography. So we've gone from 3 megapixel to 5 megapixel, but we're using a backside illuminated sensor."

I glad we're moving away from mega-pixel counting. That hasn't be relevant for years.
