It's a pretty good roster, but once again the cruiser weights got screwed. And really? Who is ever going to pick Lance Cade or Trevor Murdoch?
 
ECW roster was obviously thrown together from wrestlers they allready had made for Raw and SD. It'll be SvR2oo8 before we see a real ECW roster.

Also, WTF at no Paul London.

Agreed. WTF no Spirit Squad either...lame.

The CAW system gets better in some ways and worse than others with every passing year. Granted SvR2k6 added GABRIEL in for the names announcers call during entrances which is just awesome but on the other hand I lost out on being able to create Pepsiman from my HCTP days.

Speaking of HCTP I wish they still had the option of letting you swap out all of the default wrestlers for CAWs for the Season mode. It was fun playing season mode under my own Federation.

No Kendrick, London, Spirit Squad, Matt Hardy or PS3 support. Gonna be skipping this yr. Creating wrestlers just isn't the same without the music/entrence.

BTW, I know who the legends are... they wil be worth it this year. You're going to be getting the best of the best this year Legends wise.

The roster cut off was before ECW One Night Stand.

Besides, the door is open to roster updates through Xbox Live. Also, the CAW community will be in full effect for this.
 
If they can have Umanga & Kali then they can put Sabu and Dreamer In Damnit!!!!

I wonder if roster updates are possible, not ones that are made with the in game editor but created from the ground up.

I asked this on the last THQ press tour. They weren't talking about create-a-player at that point (And still aren't, on the record) but I asked about that distinct possibility for the 360 version. I got the awkward smile and the "We're not talking about that"

I told their PR guy to just give me a high five if there were custom songs for entrances. He didn't even have to say anything.

No dice :(

Vinnie Mac bought the ECW name and video library a few years ago when they went under. Similiar deal to when he bought the WCW name and video archive.
 
you know that roster kinda stinks, but then again the current wwe roster kinda sucks.

gamingring a few days back revealed a few of the legends but were forced to remove them. Eddie Guerrero was on there with like 7 other legends

hmmm...I thought the custom music stuff for games was through the dashboard. If that's the case then it would be difficult.

How hard would it be to point to the music folder on your 360 and use that song for an entrance?

You own Raw 2. You've already done this before.

We should have our own personal wrestlers and have a GAF wrestling league. Every Monday night, we'll have a card and matchups. If it were like PGR's TV where other people can tune in, that would be crazy awesome.

Even if you can't swap created wrestlers the CAW system is very easy to copy/paste.

Take this guy for example:

Just put in those formulas exactly as they're shown on the site and bam you have your very own Vivi to throw down with. Although this is for SvR2k6...
