SOVEREIGN

There should be a better video showing it off from all sides, not just stock pictures compiled together.

How do they calculate tax on an item like the Sovereign? I mean, just full tax rates apply? Not familiar with the rules in U.S.

Lets say you buy it in Miami. You pay $10 million in taxes. Then you need licenses, government fees, crew to maintain it, survey fees...shit.

You will have to have $200 million kept aside just for this yacht, and any future problems you might have.

Yes, the purchase price for boats and yachts etc is only a small portion of the overall cost. That's why there is this saying: "The two happiest days in a boat owner's life are the day he buys a boat, and the day he sells a boat." Most people that buy boats are too stupid to understand or realize that there is costs past the initial purchase price, that it is not like a normal road car for instance, and so they soon have to sell it.

the question is does renders mean fake or does it mean "If you have this much money we will fucking build this thing"

A design studio is behind the listing, so I'm gonna go ahead and assume it's for building the thing.

Not that I could ever hope to afford anything here, but its fun to browse. Is anyone else having troubles pulling up the details of the sales? I click on the ad and it just brings me to a blank page with their footer information. Doesn't matter which one I click on. Do they know how poor I am, so they wont allow me to see it?

I would settle for this. Just a little over 6 millions. If I start saving now, I should be mine in four or five lives tops. 695 m2 / 7485 Sq Ft. should be just right.

Let me know when someone on the top 1% budges from their high position after spending all that money on this junk (that ultimately will be worth more now because they bought it).

The new adage is "a fool and his money gets attention and makes more money." They'll buy all this shit on this site and they'll find a way to make money off of it...or they'll have more on the way. They're living lavish lifestyles that would make Rockefeller blush, and it doesn't matter.
Worst comes to worse, they can do a Donald Trump and act more foolishly to become a spotlight celebrity..and make their money back and then some...and get a following in the process.

Well, you said the expression doesn't apply "anymore". But I guess you meant it doesn't apply to these people, who are probably pretty smart with their money in the first place.

Great for humiliating waitstaff, make them continously climb this dangerously thin ladder, just to change the song every other minute or two.

dinner parties..... or any occasion!
