A lot of exposed, vulnerable parts, but will wait to see how it plays on screen. Also, I'm assuming this is one of the earlier designs.
I don't understand why people want them bigger than this, though...looks sizable enough as it is, and about the same size as most Sentinels have been. Do love the purple....
Asides from a few cool Magneto scenes, I didn't think FC was as good as the first two movies. X2 is by far the best X-movies. Nightcrawler's intro, Wolverine finally sinking his claws into someone (couldn't tell you how pumped I was in the theater when I first saw this), Colossus reveal, and just everything about the movie in general I liked. The only scene I could really recall from FC that's positive is Eric's bar scene. I remember more of January Jone's bad acting and JLaw's terrible delivery of "We're mutants and we're proud" bs.
X2 >>>X1>>FC>>>>The Wolverine>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Woverine:Orgins/X3.
Also, I'm assuming this is one of the earlier designs.
Eww I dunno about the purple. The all black look was looking more menacing.
Shorten the legs a bit and hide all the wires and stuff and it will be 9/10. Right now it is more like 7/10.
Purp as it should be
lolI just got through watching X-Men: First Class (my first rewatch since it was in theaters), and it is a LARGE step above both the original two X-Men movies and The Wolverine (I won't even mention the others). Am I the only one a little concerned now that Bryan Singer is directing this over Mathew Vaughn? First Class outclassed Singer's work in almost every single way.
yes or no i don't care i just thought it was funnyCaaaaaaaaause this is the singer circle jerk thread. Heaven forbid someone like First Class than the other movies.
http://www.vulture.com/m/2013/08/james-marsden-on-x-men-rumors.html?mid=twitter_vultureAnd X-Men: Days of Future Past next year, or no? I mean, Cyclops was disintegrated, but if there's time travel ...
No, no X-Men, unfortunately. But who knows? If this next film really works, Bryan [Singer] has said he wants to fix a few things, so hopefully that's one of them. It was great, to have a movie like that, the first two or three X-Men, and the studios in Hollywood work really hard to find a formula that's successful, and you want to keep that intact, so ...

Lol Singer is totally going to write Last Stand out of canon and I will love it.

secret cameo end of credits scene incoming!
I don't know what for. Singer had nothing for Cyclops to do really outside the first movie. It's obvious Singer doesn't like Cyclops and only has a hard on for Wolverine.
As much as I like First Class, it's not in the same leauge as X2. Everything just worked so well in X2. Even Storm was pretty bearable, dispite Halle's shitty acting. First Class was fantastic anytime Xavier/Mags/Shaw was on the screen. There was just so many cringe moments, all the kids sucked, sure, but man how did that powers/naming party scene get put through. It's just so bad. You can tell that movie was rushed, it's pretty uneven.
X2 is awesome throughout. I really loved the politics at play. Singer really nailed a lot of quieter moments. From great exchanges with Mystique/Nightcrawler, Mag/Pyro, Stryker/Xavier, even Iceman/Wolveriene share a great moment.
You guys already mentioned a lot of great scenes, so I'll post one of my personal favourites. I remember being pumped at this scene in the theatres. It's the dialogue that makes it. http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=YbYwjFWHbtU
Why does the it look like its made by Fisher-Price. Glass and Plastic aint going to stop Mutants.
Anything made out of metal ain't going to stop Magneto (well, unless it's a non-ferromagnetic metal).
Oh yeah whens Mahvel!?![]()

I thought in the comics he wasn't disintegrated but put into a protective bubble or some shit to protect him from what was coming? Am I making this up?

I hope the next movie actually does cyclops justice

Superman if he only had one power.
LOL

They should have given him a chance.
I don't think I've ever seen Cyclops' bullshit "master tactician and strategist" skills encapsulated so perfectly in one panel.I hope the next movie actually does cyclops justice

All I see is a super buff Sigourney Weaver! LOL
Seems to love Xavier and Mags as well.I don't know what for. Singer had nothing for Cyclops to do really outside the first movie. It's obvious Singer doesn't like Cyclops and only has a hard on for Wolverine.

Yup and First Class wasnt that great either, Singer's output (except for one movie) has been terribad.I just got through watching X-Men: First Class (my first rewatch since it was in theaters), and it is a LARGE step above both the original two X-Men movies and The Wolverine (I won't even mention the others). Just watched the first x-men movie again this evening. It really hasn't aged very well. Some cheesey lines. Bad acting. Dodgy special effects and fight scenes that wouldn't look out of place in some syfy TV movie clone.
Would love to see a reboot of the series, in the hands of marvel.
Also saw first class for the second time as well and that too hasn't aged very well either.
Singer is capable, but I'm still a little cautious.
