XB1 Elite Controller ($150)

You're basing your argument on the idea that a built-in battery will never have to be swapped.

I mean we can get tens of hours per charge such that it's not a big deal to charge when I'm not playing, but for $150 I'd expect something like hot-swappable battery packs. High-end wireless mice have this.

For me the best part of the conference, Awesome controller... but the price? Seriously? :D Ahahahaha.

For the Wii U Gamepad it was always: Why 130? There are cheaper tablets out there!
This one doesnt even have a screen.

Really excited for this.

A "pro" XB1 controller was rumored months ago - and I thought last weeks new XB1 controller reveal (with the new headphone jack and improved bumpers) was all that was coming.

Im interested to learn about the sensitivity settings.

If my mouse and keyboard weren't on sale when I bought 'em, that's about how much I would have paid.

And I do enjoy a distinct competitive edge over most other players on PC as a result (mostly thanks to the fact that I can keep movement and interaction controls entirely separate and self contained - everything I ever need to do is usually on the mouse, and I never need to let my fingers off WSAD. Keyboard could be better but I play shitloads of ARMA and wanted the macro buttons), so I'm not too bothered by the $100+tax price I did pay.

I mean, I'd never pay that much for a controller, but I don't play competitive games on console, and I wouldn't blame anyone who does for desiring this.

I'll buy it, the bastard's know I'm going to buy it, so I'm just going to try and not give my dealer the smug satisfaction of looking me in the eye while I buy my next fix.

Neat controller, as my interests lie with racing games. A wheel and pedals is only like $100 more though.

Will really have to see reviews first.

The Scuf equivalent of this controller is about $200 and doesn't include a headphone jack, extra parts or a case. Just some perspective for people complaining about price.

If this thing comes with a lifetime warranty where if ANYTHING breaks or wears out I can replace it for free...maybe. That would mean I wouldn't ever have to buy another xbone controller.

I need more details.

yo for this price you can get a good mouse and a good keyboard plus change, what in the fuck

Define "good"...

We are talking about competitively play here. My KB/M/Mousepad combo is over 300 easily.

This whole thread is non-enthusiasts basically saying that enthusiasts gear is worthless even though they have never used any or competed on a high level (admittedly).

Its very strange...
