Maybe Ryse will get a Scorpio boost for resolution/framerate.
A 3 year old game made by a struggling company no longer interested in the ip is not going to get a Scorpio boost.
However it is questionable if the studio is responsible for that since even some older 360 games run better on Xbox One without any work from the original creators as far as we know.
Ryse is actually a lot of fun.
Probably one of the most underrated games I've played.
The combat is simple but satisfying and on high difficulty can be quite a challenge. The story also seems decent so far (3/4 of the way through) and the presentation is amazing. The fact that this game is about 3 and half years old is insane. It looks so damn good.
It should've been marketed as one of it's selling points
Watch the enemy facial expressions, that's a strange and satisfying attention to detail.Ryse is the definition of stupid fun. I love the executions, but not being able to fail them are an absolute joke.
The multiplayer of Ryse is completely broken, right? You earn no gold but you may only buy gold for real money now apparently... Thus there is no real progression. So sad
Works fine for me...The multiplayer of Ryse is completely broken, right? You earn no gold but you may only buy gold for real money now apparently... Thus there is no real progression. So sad
Damn I might actually go back depending on how cheap it is.Based on the Spring Sale video MS/MajorNelson released it looks like the Ryse Season Pass will be on sale during this sale from April 11-17. I may have to pick that up!
I played through Layers of Fear (it was GwG in some earlier month) and I wanted to share my feelings on it:
First let's get this out of the way: It's not much of a game, but more of a walking simulator with some interactive elements. It also overstays it's welcome, and the framerate is terrible (Unity), so I'm not recommending it to most, but I really thought they did a good job with the "insanity effects" in this game. I liken it to walking through a well-done spook house where the emphasis is on madness and creepiness instead of axe murderers. Nice sound design too. I played it at night with the lights low and enjoyed my time with it despite it's massive flaws.
Personally I've been enjoying "walking simulators" and "light" games as of late; I don't have 100 hours to pour into games completing them these days. I've put off playing Layers though because I'm not interested in paying full price for the DLC.
True if I paid for Ryse I'm not sure I'd be so high on it, but for free it's hard to complain and it definitely beat my expectations (to be honest that wouldn't have been hard ). Either way was a fun couple of hours and definitely worth trying out if you have GoldI enjoyed ryse quite abit and i also enjoyed the order alot, in my opinion, there is nothing wrong with a short, sweet, cinematic experience. To be fair i borrowed ryse from a buddy and only paid ten bucks for the order so i may feel differently if i had dropped a full 60 on either

I've always heard great things about the LEGO games, looking forward to LEGO Star Wars!
Trump, is that you?
Survival mode in Ryse is a hilariously intense experience. I'm pretty happy right now. I'm finding matches in less than a minute. I don't think I was even remotely close to that when the game first came out.
Both already available. Gianna sisters looks fun!May games have been announced:

Game would've sold Xbox's like hotcakes in Japan if they marketed that more I bet
