Xbox 360 Live demo availability thread

Don't bother writing things like this. It's FAR better when we don't anticipate any demos and then all of a sudden we get this awesome surprise out of nowhere.

I never got this reasoning. It's not like it makes the demo any less worthless. The only people who can play the demo are people who own an xbox, and the people who own an xbox have known about these games for months. it would have almost been better for them to release PRICED downloadable content.. at least that is servicing their fans/users (the companies that is). but to release the tiger woods and amped demos in hopes of selling 10 or 15 more copies this month..... just lame.

and note this is specifically targetting these two bad games. had they been good games with demos, that MIGHT be a different story, though not much different of one.
 
Amped 3 is a fantastic game and it deserves this demo so that people can find out how good it is instead of listening to lies, libel, and slander.

Also stop bitching about free stuff.
 
I was playing the amped 3 demo and found this glitch.

After you complete the easteregg thing and start on the actual mountain.
Go to the highest droppoint available, Loveseat. Select the snowscooter and turn 180 degrees. Ride up the mountain the to (not available) drop point Comstock.

From there you can board the whole mountain, so also the 2 LOCKED sections (the grey ones which say: "Purcase Amped 3").

Saints Row
N3
Hitman: Bloodmoney (OXM has it on this month's issue, but its Xbox)
and Dead Rising!

Kinda sucks though, there doesn't seem like much coming out until June...
 
I didn't know what to expect for the Tiger Woods demo, but I wasn't happy with that.

Three shitty holes (two par 3's, one par 4), and the gameplay felt off.

Was the 'power up button' always on the left side? I only had it for the GC (2003) and it was designated to the Z button, which felt more natural as I wasn't using one hand for everything.

Anyways..yeah, it looked nice, the greens played awkwardly...I enjoyed the gameplay of 2003 more, but will pick this up when it's cheap (or get the next years one).
 
it says something about the castle. if its the castle level towards the end of the game with all the burning embers floating around i really liked that level, probably my favorite in the whole game.
 
always when I open this thread I hope it's a Top Spin 2 demo. Is there any word that it's coming?

I'm really interested in the game but I'd like to play the demo before buying it.

Not true. That was already up.

Just because I'm new doesn't mean I'm not knowledgeable.
 
By the way, are there any demos released in the US or Japan that us Europeans can't download (or vice versa) ? Because I read about that thing a couple months ago where you'd make an account with an American address and you could download American demos, but I'd like to know if there are actually any demos we Europeans are missing.

Yes, there are demos that are released and sometimes certain areas are omitted.

I am certain I read some particular demo France didn't get for instance. Can't remember which demo it was though.

that game wont be out til next year. i really hope thats true and i really hope a lot of e3 stuff will be on XBL.

They state it at the end of the trailer, so I suppose it's true. Obvioulsy with the required delays, as usual ;-)

Now please Capcom, put up a demo of Dead Rising too, and it'll be really great!

I wanna be optomistic, but the title still seems veerry far off to be releasing a demo already.....now Dead Rising, that would make more sense
 
damn thats crazy. i really hope theres a full blown e3 media orgy on XBL during the the conference itself.

an HD version of the MS conference would be nice too.

but i honestly dont think any of that will happen.

Whoa that trailer for Lost Planet rocks,cant wait to try the demo :D
 
lost planet looks filthy. only concern is that character movement seems to be a little slow, hopefully that's not the case.

I agree. I was expecially impressed by the explosions effects, with all the motion-blurred debris flying away... and the level with all those flying aliens seem fantastic, too. Can't wait to put my hands on the demo!

.....now they need to annouce the "Dead Rising pre-E3 Trailer, Theme, and Demo" package! :D
