Xbox 360 Live demo availability thread

Hey Gaffers, I'm looking for people from outside of UK who would be willing to index demos from their XBL Marketplaces and add them to my site:
http://www.xboxlivefiles.com/

As for UK Marketplace, there's also a couple of demos missing: Crackdown, The Club, BlackSite: Area 51 Teaser Demo, Condemned, Stranglehold, Jericho and KUF: Circle of Doom (plus Doom, Smash TV and Ultimate MK 3 on the Arcade side of things). Because of region blocking I'm unable to index them myself, so any help with that would be great.

Damnit nothing yet..

(GP)

Nope, not up - although I know practically every game on Live has a demo, including the first Condemned, I never thought about a demo for this one as well - can't wait for it to show up!

Figures, since they're just as bad as those other two. :p

But given that SEGA has written a press release for the demo, it'll be probably be available tonight or tomorrow morning.

Xbox Live has been shit on demos lately. I never see more than one in the recently released thread and it's always a week or two old. There's enough good titles coming out or have come out recently that there should be something, anything more than what we have now.

Next person to bump this without a demo going up will have to face Will Wright in a death match.

I doubt they'd wait that long, but it IS possible that they are attempting to push the PS3 version. Of course, I own the game on 360 and played around with the PS3 demo and felt that it was a good port. I did notice a loss in texture quality while playing, but it didn't seem significant. I was surprised at how severe the loss really is when checking out the comparisons.

I don't think people would be disappointed with the PS3 version, however, as it runs just as well, lacks none of the effects, and feels great. It doesn't seem that every surface in the game took a texture quality hit either.

Has the Euro 2008 demo been taken down?

It was there last night but didn't download, checked this morning and it's gone!

Why is there no demo of Sega Superstars Tennis or Condemned 2: Bloodshot on the US X box Live Marketplace? I have already the demos of Sega Superstars Tennis or Condemned 2: Bloodshot on PSN.

demo is surprisingly awesome. turn all assists to semi and it plays like a well tuned WE.

Amazing graphics.

Too bad the goalkeepers are so bad, the players move and control a lot better than in FIFA 08 but i hate the goalkepeers stupid AI.

Still no impressions on the Euro demo? Wow, soccer must be in a steep decline... :P

It's good. A really nice subtle evolution from Fifa 08. The power bars have been moved to the players now which makes a slight difference, also the passing is zippier and the overall pace is up from the cagey Serie A style matches Fifa 08 specialised in.

Be A Pro looks like it's been left alone as much as possible, probably a good thing. It's nigh on perfect now so as long as it can be integrated into something more meaningful then that's all I want.

In terms of the teams France had pace everywhere, but didn't retain the ball well. Germany were strong and lethal up front, but less flair players. The midfield cut my Frenchmen apart like the game was being played in Ypres when I played as Henry in BAP mode. I didn't see the ball for 85 minutes (and then blazed it over from 12 yards when I finally got a chance).

The facial animations look better too. Probably because there are less players to model in this version. It's also moved the rivalry to the whole game now I think. In Fifa you could play online with your team against whoever you were playing that weekend (unless you're a Spurs fan for some reason, I ended up playing West Ham versus Chelsea for the achievement...0-0 which wasn't too bad since I didn't want to win playing as the claret scum), whereas this one looks like it records all players by country and ranks on a big leaderboard. It wasn't explained well to be honest so that may be wrong.

The splash screen also mentioned full qualifying, and creating your own goal celebrations which sounds all right.

If it weren't coming out 11 days before GTA I'd pick it up, but I already have Fifa 08 and will probably be tight for cash around then so I might have to miss it.

Importantly it looks like they're readying a good step up with Fifa 09...already the game plays even better than 08, very promising. Pro Evo will need to step up a lot to regain it's advantage.

Microsoft should put out a gta demo.
THat would probably crash xbl lol
I know, its never going to happen, not in a million years, we have a better chance of getting a gears 2 demo

I'm not seeing the Demo on the US marketplace either. Wonder if they took it down for some reason?

Reasons for demo:
1:Publicity
2:Whetting appetites
3:Winning over the undecided

Now I don't think there's going to be anybody that owns a console that doesn't know GTA's coming out. And it's coming out next month, so it would be like providing a starter thirty seconds before the main course is ready. And who is on the fence over GTA, really? Either you are interested in it, in which case you will be buying it because it's obviously going to own, or you're not, because you don't like that kind of game and never will.

I would love a demo of GTA. They keep saying they've made it better but I don't believe them because they claim that every time.

I'd love to see if it's actually learned anything from Crackdown as well.
