Sorry to ask but for Black Flag, if I download it now then after few months, my GOLD sub expires, do I still keep the game?

Weird that the indie game So Many Me isn't launching until mid way through the month(?). Since it is carrying over I really hope they don't count that as one of Augusts "new games". I don't think they will based on them saying two new games a month but who knows lol.

I doubt it, there's been a few times where they didn't stick to the proper dates and just released it when it came out on XB1. I said the same to Steve(told you release dates don't matter ) last month I think, though 16 days is a bit far into the month it's not out of the ordinary for the GWG's to be late or even early in some cases for XB1.

If anything, they might do it like this and continue to release the 2nd game mid month for a full month so that they can claim you're getting 3 games a month on xbox one.

Stop buying games at launch. Buy them a few months after they are released. This are the benefits you'll get:

- You'll be able to get games for less money (bought Destiny for 24$ two months ago)
- You'll be playing a finished game, not a Beta (Eg. ACUnity, MCC, Driveclub, BF4...)
- There's a chance that the game is given for free with GWG (I was planning to buy AC4 this summer. Now I don't have to)

I've been getting the 360 games through their website ever since I got gold. I've never had an Xbox 360, but I borrowed my brother's for a week to get me started since I wanted to buy one. Now with BC, I may not have to anymore.

I didn't know that, that's a little stupid. Not much of a problem while the console is in its active lifespan, but after that it could be bothersome. If I don't have XBL next generation for instance, I couldn't download the games I "own" without it.

Maybe they are offering smaller windows for publishers?

Looks like they are overlapping the free games - that way you get a new one every two weeks, but they are available to add to your collection for a month.

Really great month. I'm playing ACIV right now and it's great, and Gears 3 is a very strong showing - especially if it's eligible for BC when it launches (I see no reason why it wouldn't be now MS owns it entirely). Good stuff MS: your move Sony.

On 360, you keep the games even after your Gold has expired.
