The Sales and Special+ app is a 360 app. I think I remember it saying that it was only available at the beginning of an offer period but I could be mixing it up with one of the many other gamerpic/theme sweepstakes.

Few different panels in the app,
Coming soon panel for a Mystery Wheel game.
Scratchcard game (no skill needed). It seem that even if you don't match and win there are three offers. Currently 160msp off a forza car pack, 400msp off Pinball FX (1) Classic pack, and 80msp off some tat.
Deal of the Week panel.
Chain Reaction offer (currently Gears of War). Buy some tat (80msp off) which will unlock Horde Pack (160msp off) then Raam's Shadow (240msp off) and finally the Lancer skin pack (600msp off). You have to buy the first to be able to buy the second etc.
Wall of Fame. Lists who won on the scratchcard game that day.

The app isn't available to download at the moment.

Oh man, Trine is "tryne" and not "treen." Thank goodness I've never had cause to say it out loud, think of the shame I'd have brought upon my family!

Also, it's good.

GAF, I plan on buying the Dreamcast Collection soon. Is Sonic Adventure DX worth it at 200?

Still no news on Guilty Gear, wonder if it will still come out this summer and when we're finally getting some clarification on which version we are getting.

2nd Loke Test is this weekend so we may hear something sometime after that. I really honestly think that AC+ was what we were supposed to get and then R threw a wrench in the works. They might have to push it back some to accommodate that. Wouldn't be surprised if that was the case.

That's what I'd bet on too.

Really tempted by Nexuiz + X-Men... The first one - I must confess - just for the price cut: looks kinda generic, I'm not sure I would love it. I have to try the demo.

For 200 it's fine. If you can deal with the fact it ain't the widescreen patched PC version you should be fine. Pass on the dx dlc though...waste of money unless you have to play as Metal Sonic. Also prepare to put yourself in a 99 frame of mind as it still has all the same bugs it had back then and the camera is the stuff of nightmares.

Is the second episode of the walking dead ever going to release? Goddamn.

That's the problem when they wait ages to make their money on the first episode of plot-driven (hardly any replay value) cinematic experience 30fps linear episodic gaming. You could watch it on youtube and get the same experience, wouldn't be surprised if they decide to stop playthroughs citing copyright infringement on games like these for that very reason (imo).

I'd rather they delay it and we get AC+R then.

Bought Trine 2.

Still debating about Nexuiz. 200 MS Points is nice (but I do not have any extra MS in my account right now) plus it a multiplayer only game, and I am having a hard time finding time to play such games right now.

It sold over a million copies already, I doubt they're waiting to make their money on it

All the horrible things wrong with that port I'm well aware of. The only reason I'm even considering buying it is because it may connect somehow to SA2. I had a gut feeling about Sonic 4 on the issue and I was right about that. So I'll go with my gut and just bite on it for that reason alone.

Exactly. Having access to AC+ while you wait isn't even an issue. R is worth that wait because of all those changes. ASW can take all the time they want as long as the final product lives up to the awesome the series is known for.

I'm worried about how active the game is, being XBLA. It's online only so if nobody's playing it, you can't play it either. Maybe the 200pt price is an attempt to change that, but I'm not sure it's going to work.
Good thinking. I thought about buying it for 200MSP but then I considered that it's online only, reviews were so-so and besides, Summer of Arcade is coming very soon. So no, I didn't buy it. Even at 200MSP. *shrugs*

I have the Wii version of that but have only played that like three times total. Not the ideal platform for it, so even if it were just AC+ I'd rebuy it for the online and to use the arcade stick I've gotten since.

July 4th, Spelunky - 1200msp

Illegal fireworks have a true purpose now!!! Can't wait for next week.

Point taken. I guess all we can do is sit back and wait. I might have to pull out AC+ on PS2 sometime this week for fun.

Those who haven't played Spelunky are in for a treat. In my opinion, the greatest skill-focused platformer ever made.

Spelunky was my most anticipated digital release coming into this year.

My other two "big ones" we're Fez and Trials and they lived up to my lofty expectations.

So what's worth spending my expiring 4880 points on? I'm pretty much sticking to new releases and games that aren't on PC or won't be for awhile. Atm I'm thinking VF5, Fez, Joyride Turbo, Avengers Table for Pinball FX2 and 2 240 pt pinball fx 2 table. Think I would have 800 pts left if I did the math right. Was considering RE4 HD but think I may wait for the RE6 package with all the REs for 360 this year and wait for that to go cheap lol.

Spelunky? SPELUNKY!!!

Nice and early, won't even clash badly with Dust :) 2 great taste that taste great together, etc, etc.
And anyone who'd not get the game because of offline multi achievements... doesn't deserve to play it anywho, lol.

Nexuiz is so tempting at just 200 MSP. If there was even a semi-active community I would buy it, but I'm not even sure it has that.

With all these games, I'm starting to think Mark of the Ninja won't be coming out this summer ;_;

This is it now until the end of August.

06/27 Jeremy McGrath's Offroad
06/29 Mini Ninjas Adventures
07/04 Bellator: MMA Onslaught
07/04 Spelunky
07/11 Quantum Conundrum
07/18 Tony Hawk's Pro Skater HD
07/25 Wreckateer
08/01 Deadlight
08/08 Hybrid
08/15 Dust: An Elysian Tail
08/22 Counter-Strike: Global Offensive

I saw on Major Nelson's site that DoDonPachi was coming to Games on Demand and got excited....until I realized it wasn't for North American release. The disc version of the game in Europe plays on North American consoles too, so I don't see why the GoD version shouldn't either, but oh well.

I may wait until the possible Steam summer sale before I get Trine 2 (I want to get Trine 1 as well).

It should work, if you can buy it. You'd need to mess with your IP and use a UK account/UK points to buy it.
