Xbox One “Titanfall” Limited Edition Wireless Controller

Looks more like it's made for the racing game, Wipeout.

I was expecting greens, grays, browns and a worn metal look. Maybe a few bullet holes painted on as well.

I can't decide if I think it looks awesome or hideous. It seems to go back and forth.

Doesn't really seem like a Titanfall product to me. Seems more like Wipeout's clean futuristic look than Titanfall's heavy metal and rivet design.

Beautiful controller. I'm now kicking myself for already having bought a plain second one.

As for why the controller costs so much, you can tell after using one that the build quality is a step up from the PS4's and when you factor in the rumble triggers and the little stoppers that dampen their impact you can see why it'd cost so much even without a built in battery. The XBOne controller truly is a thing of beauty. One thing MS got right this gen is great build quality and general physical aesthetic.
I have an Xbox One and only played with the DS4 for a few minutes, but I'd be inclined to say the DS4 feels like it has the better build quality. Don't get me wrong, I like the things you mentioned like the dampening in the triggers and rumble etc. But I honestly think the DS4 feels more sturdy. Xbox One controller is kind of creeky.

While I like the art style, it looks awful on the controller. They should have considered the shape and design of the controller a bit more.

Thought I was the only one....

Yeah I was thinking the exact same thing but it looks more ground GM gundam oriented than what I've seen of titanfall.

Funny because as much as they are trying to distinguish these suits or bots or whatever they call them from mechs, they make it end up looking more similar to mech designs.

Such a dirty word, pfft.

I love it. I don't even have an Xbox One yet, but I'll probably buy one or two of these in preparation for whenever I do.

I think I've been beaten, but the idea is probably the controller is an extension of one of the Titans, which is that color scheme.

Probably one of the IMC Titans, not the MCOR.

The IMC Titans are the nice, new looking ones, and the MCOR Titans belong to the resistance army and are all beat to shit and "used" looking.

This is real bad.

From the media they've shown, if you would have asked me what the color scheme for a LE controller and/or console would be the last colors I'd say would be white and orange.

When I think Titanfall I think greys and teals, maybe browns.

Ugh.
