Xbox One: "All In One. Input One." banner

This is all just ... weird. Who honestly even cares about switching the inputs on their TV? Plus my TV just stays on the input it was on last..."Input One" doesn't mean anything.
Especially when a lot of us have universal smart remotes. I have no idea what our TV inputs are on. We just hit 'TV', 'Movie' or 'Music'.

If there is truly a new cheap Xbox 360, I'll bet it will be a input device for the XB1. Hopefully it won't only work with the XB1...

Since this confirms the leaked documents...

299$ - calling it now.

edit: maybe this is the subscription based pricepoint... who knows :-)

I know what it meant the moment I read it, but the thing is I don't give a shit if I need to switch inputs with my remote to use a different device. I'm not dysfunctional, I can do this without your help MS.

It would be like a car company focusing there advertising on "New Car. Auto Open Gas Cap." Who gives a shit if you have to twist the fucking filler cap off or it opens itself, it's such a simple task in the first fucking place.

I have a 2.1 Soundbar with multiple HDMI inputs, It's made by Sony.

My Tv is currently using 1 of 4 of it's HDMI inputs.

MS is a godsend, made my life so much easier!

Ya I don't know why they didn't do the actual conference title

“Xbox: A new Generation of Games Revealed.”

Seems odd.

Free slogan for Xbone:

"Play awesome games you can't get elsewhere"

that one's free MS.

Pachter was right, people on this board have no idea.

Clearly his slogan was an exaggeration (you see that, GAF? There are other words for hyperbole).
I think the point he is trying to make is how awful the slogan is.

Give it a rest. Plenty of us have an idea, and think this is a shit slogan.

Clearly I need to put /sarcasm after my posts.

I would have never have figured out what this is supposed to mean if it had not been answered in this tread.

I guess it is a major hassle to switch between HDMI 1 for my PC, HDMI 2 for my PS3, and component for my Wii U.... wait. NO IT ISN'T A FUCKING HASSLE AT ALL! This is not a feature, Microsoft! Make a goddamned effort. Jesus Christ you're like that guy we all knew in high school and were decent friends with, but not besties or anything, and now we're all at the same party but you're really drunk and annoying and we all wish you would just GO HOME.

Is there any mention of changes to Gold? I'd imagine there has to be some kind of contract/subscription terms for a price like that to fly.

Unless the NSA is covering the costs that is.

The same document points to "mix and match services?" It would be crazy if there was some buffet style choosing for what you wanted on live.
WITH free multi of course...sigh.

If it really is $299 Sony shouldn't even bother showing up.

Sony has already shown that they can launch a console way more expensive than all their competitors and still outsell them. Anyway, no way the Xbone is $299 unless it requires a contract.

I seriously don't think microsoft knows what a surround sound receiver is.

Input 1 on my TV is my receiver output. My cable box plugs into my receiver. Exactly how am I going to watch TV on my Xbox, microsoft?

Yep.

Yes - it mentions new live tiers:

What?

Xbone could absolutely launch at that price.
