Xbox One Launch Games: What's Left Without Watch Dogs?

Games are not the problem for me, it's the $500 price. But I still want to play the likes of Ryse, Dead Rising 3 and Forza 5, so I'll just wait until a drop.

Were people really that excited about Watch_Dogs? I feel like if the game was there at launch nobody would have cared about it. Now that it got delayed everybody cares.

I was. None of the other launch PS4 titles appeal to me. Might end up picking up AC4 for the PS4, but only if it goes on sale on Black Friday. I should probably cancel my PS4 order, honestly.

Great video, love outside Xbox & Jane is great.

After playing Ryse coop last week, it's great, massive surprise for me.

Isn't this subjective due to a person's tastes?

In terms of preferences yes, but looking at the overall picture in terms of quality the xbox one's line up looks much better. For example, I have zero interest in Ryse and Forza 5 but I acknowledge those are quality titles that add value to their lineup.

Not only you contradicted yourself, it also makes no sense. Each person determines themselves what game holds value or not. If your not interested in sim racers what value does Forza bring? Why would it matter to you if someone else finds a genre/game interesting? And you can do the exact same thing with the ps4 lineup. "I have no interest in Killzone or Knack, but in terms of quality ps4 lineup looks much better"

I'm picking up both consoles at launch, but xbox one has far more launch titles that I'm interested in. If I had to choose between them, I would be waiting on the PS4 until The Order came out.

I think there is enough stuff to play with on Xbox One when it launches. Also I think Watch Dogs is not going to be that awesome as many people think. I could be wrong but in my opinion we expect too much from the game...

I'm finding myself incredibly un-hyped about the release of the next gen consoles (which, for my country, is only PS4 until next year).

I'm an RPG enthusiast, and absolutely nothing appeals to me at launch, so I'm happy that I can save the money and buy a PS4 later, while I wait out the drought with Bravely Default on the 3DS.

But I'm glad that, besides the missing RPG's, there are titles for most everybody on both sides, and I hope they're enjoying the hype and the feel of buying a new next-gen console. :)

don't even bother, gamers, sports fans, most religious don't know the diference of subjective and objective

This is true. I laugh when people claim this consoles launch line up is better then the others, knowing full well that is an opinion and they try to pass it off as fact.

Also Watchdogs never hyped me, so I really do not care it was delayed for either console. I was always going to buy a ps4 just for Killzone, all the other games are icing on the cake.

I totally agree that X1 has the better launch line-up but, based on the hype and previews, I think PS4 will have the best launch game (Killzone:SF)

I am confused why people think KZ is going to be more than the average, eye-candy shooter that it has always been. (I'm buying a PS4 at launch but still).

I dont see a big picture with Xbox One launch titles, as many people say.
PS4 will launch at Day 1 with Killzone Shadow Fall and Knack, against Dead Rising 3, Ryse and Forza 5 at Xbox One.

But its all a matter of opinion, and I'll state mine:

Killzone Shadow Fall have much more potential to hold players than a race simulation game or a single-player focus game like Ryse. Also, Killzone SF is, of all the day 1 titles, the most next-gen look by far. The game seems to have an amazing multiplayer, very customizable, with all weapons usable at the start, focus on a idea of "immediate start playing" and looks pure fun! Also, it seems to have a nice campaing, with more opened large areas, and if im not mistaken a nice ammount of gameplay duration (I think Ive read that would be at about 10 hours).

Knack seems a good and fun to play adventure platform title. A genre that is almost forgotten. Also, Knack is a project from Sony Japan Studio, with Mark Cerny. May be not a very special game, but im feeling it will have its identity and that old school feeling, with a nice modern gameplay and next-gen interactions (like the collectables that can be changed and compared with your PSN friends). In my opinion, a must-buy for PS4.

On the other hand, Ryse is the Xbox One best looking title overall, but majority people who have tried it did not seem to have enjoyed the gameplay as the graphics itself, for what i could read. Also the game is good looking in a general way, but for me, its just special when it comes to facial expressions. Again, Crytek in my opinion is just a graphicist developer company, and in excpetion of the first Crysis, their games are not that special at all, and always overhyped by the history they did with Crysis amazing graphics at 2007 (but also, a trully nice game btw).

Dead Rising 3 doesnt look like a next-gen title. Ok that they put tons of zombies at the screen, and the game looks fun to play, so it will probably trully woth buying. Not much to say here, game looks fun, but ugly... ant its physics seems pretty bad also by the videos I have watched.

Forza 5 looks pretty. Very colorfull, an "art-style" that did not appeal to me in a game that looks to be more realistc, but for sure is looking good. But thats a race game... and cars models, for what I can observe (im not a developer, and have not even all that technical knowledge) is not hard to look that good. I mean... Gran Turismo on PS3 and Forza on X360 already look pretty awesome, and sometimes I think NFS Rivals looks better. But since I did not take a better look at those games (my interest is in Driveclub that was unfortunately delayed) I cant say it for sure yet. But a must buy Xbox One title in my opinion... and I believe will be the best solid experience players will have with Xbox One exclusive launch titles.

Killer Instinct just do not appeal to me in any form. Does not look like a next-gen title, I hated the idea of selling characters one by one (or a pack), and have a very small number of characters at launch. Hope people enjoy it more than I probably would. But here I swear... cant see why the hype (maybe the lack of fighting games at launch).

Thats been said, I still prefer Killzone and Knack (and wait to DriveClub, inFamous, Deep Down and in a more distant future, The Order) then Ryse, Dead Rising, Forza and Killer Instinct. The day 1 titles numbers favour Xbox One, but at long run and a more solid experience I still think PS4 looks more attractive.

Again, bothing that I said is a fact... its just my point of view. Im not trolling.
BTW... thats what I call wall ! lol

Great video! Her accent and enthusiasm made me feel like I made the right decision a month ago. That was to purchase the bone and hold out on the ps.
