These graphics suddenly look better, Im gonna need misterxteam to explain such wizardry.
Very strange. What player and/or codec pack do you use? I recommend CCCP and the bundled MPC-HC.
Anyway, I've just captured some titanfall, but I'm really terrible. I'll try and do a more "scientific" comparison video
that worked! thanks!
Here is my quick comparison video, 30 seconds of running around Angel City before the patch, and 30 seconds after the patch.

Hey Albert! If you are still lurking, take note. THIS is site to go to to host any new vids you want to show.
I'm working on an upload service for the site so people can upload their own videos. It will be heavily moderated so people don't send crap, but it should allow for some nice stuff hopefully. We'll need to find some money for the hosting though, working on that too
Odd choice from MS side. It would have made more sense to enhance the filter, not remove it altogether.
That detail degradation in the KI shot is pretty profound.
What's the deal with "Kodjima"? If it's a joke I don't get it.
MIsterx: Well seem like Kodjima has no other options and must support inferior Japan tech.

MisterX has to be a joke character.

This is hilarious btw.
No mater what, Titanfall still looks like shit, even in PC.
I'd appreciate it if someone in the know would explain what the hell the scaler was attempting to do pre-patch. Anyone know? All it did was crush blacks and sharpen everything causing aliasing and other oddities. What were the benefits, or the original motivation for implementing such a scaler?
For me the black crushed was fixed a while ago check your TV settings

No update here...
I still have the OLD OS: 6.2.10217.0 (xb_rel_launch.131205-2200)

If you have a USB flash drive, use this.

Worked fine for me.
Mine refuses to update. Restarted a million times
Visual illustration, to help people better understand the changes:
I just turned it off by pressing the power button 5 secs, then I turned it on again, a green progress bar appeared for a few minutes and update done
Bad example, this shows sharpening being a good thing.
That's good.
I still wonder who ever thought it would be a good idea to add some sharpening to those sub-1080p jaggies when upscaling them.
