You just need to add them as a friend. When you go to the preview app there will be a "Invite Friends" button. They'll show up.

I've been trying to get into the preview program for months. Had a buddy supposedly invite me a while back, then another a week ago. This is worse than waiting for my Gaf account. Am I doing something wrong or is it literally just luck of the draw once you get "nominated"

Some say it can be luck but I've had a few people get in already that I invited a few days ago. I was invited first try a year ago. It can take some time. If you want to pm me your gamertag I can submit it again.
