An editor at 1up is claiming that at least three scenes were edited for violence and gore in the NA version of XSIII. I don't really care as long as nothing relevant was cut, but just serves as another indicator of the lameness of Namcohomotek.

Every Xenosaga game has been cut somewhat for the US release. In the first game, some scenes between Albedo and MOMO were cut, and in the second game they changed the gun to an energy ball when Albedo shoots himself in the head.

I can think of two scenes where they might have taken out some blood. It sucks though. There wasn't anything too bad in the game.

It wasn't removed. It was just changed. This is the original version of the scene:

I called the censorship way back. Once again, I am right! :lol

For the record, in the US version all blood is removed, so it's not just censoring scenes in particular but just that any scenes that had blood just doesn't have them anymore. It's pretty damn lame, but apparently they needed to remove ALL blood just to get a T rating. :lol
