PSVR and NES Classic Mini! Both are big hits at Casa de Uncelestial. Seeing old people use VR is pretty hilarious and my mom has been way into replaying Dr. Mario.

I have I think like 5 flannels from Ebbets.

They are truly great things, I know I have one that has Astro Boy on it.

They accidentally sent me one flannel that wasn't complete it was a San Fran Seals one, but it didn't have a number on the back. I contacted them, they told me to keep it and they had another one out ASAP.

I was able to sell that incomplete flannel on eBay for an easy 100 bucks.

I'd say nothing, maybe gift cards, maybe a Leafs jersey at best (I brought it up, but also as a joke) or socks/sweater/shirts, but I'm honestly content with a good Christmas dinner with my family, which never disappoints me.

I pretty much bought myself what I wanted in November. PS4 Pro when it came out, Rise of the Tomb Raider on Black Friday, couple of games on PSN during the Black Friday + Flash Sales in that week, and I'll probably hit up some stores on Boxing Day for more stuff. I'm also still scanning over the PSN Holiday + Flash Sales going on right now.

I spent several hundred dollars on the wife and kids. Their love and thanks is more than enough to fill me with joy and happiness this year.

A lot of cool stem toys for the boys, a tablet for them to share, a metric ton of movies for us to watch as a family, BFG, Petes Dragon, Secret Life of Pets, Kubo and some more.

I had a really cool topographic map of our home town framed and matted for the wife.

Got a bunch of clothes and shoes for everyone. Overall pretty sure it's gonna be crazy tomorrow morning

New electric shaver since my old one was starting to get kinda gross.

Some clothes.

Gift cards for shoes, clothes and for a music store so I can get wall mounts for my guitars.

I didn't wish for anything special, so all in all I'm happy with what I got.

PS4 Pro and FFXV. The real fun is tomorrow morning with the kids though. They can finally stop asking for a pro scooter lol

Christmas is tomorrow but I know what I have.

Monster Hunter Generations
Majora's Mask 3D
Jean Paul Gaultier Essence de Parfum
A shedload of cash
Some Amiibo

I actually also have a mystery gift turning up too.

Am I allow to say nothing? Literally nothing.
Got my dad a Windows Tablet though since his kindle is getting too small/outdated.
Got myself some relatively expensive whisky though, that'll cheer me up :P

Famicom Mini, total surprise! The joypads are way more comfortable than they look for how small they are. Kind of gives me hope that the detachable ones on the Switch will be decent after all.

Now if only I could read Japanese, I could play Final Fantasy III !

I got money, and bought this stuff at GameStop, Target, and Barnes & Noble. Only paid full price for the Leia figure, everything else was with discounts. I have at least one present under our tree, and I have no idea what it is. I'll find out tomorrow.

Everyone in my life is either unemployed and about to start school, a kid, or elderly. My brother bought me the Battlefield Premium upgrade. Otherwise, my holly jolly ass bought myself a GTX 1080 and a 4k TV and now I'm getting drunk, playing videogames, and eating like a pig while everyone is baking and shit.

Aside from some cash I had bought myself a brand new computer setup due to Christmas and graduating this past week.

Worth and currently grabbing interesting titles on the steam sale. Merry Christmas GAF!

It helps if you've read the book it comes from, How to Get Filthy Rich in Rising Asia by Mohsin Hamid. Also, I don't find the notion that our lives end depressing. It's what you do with what you get that's important.

Yeah, I suppose so.

My 7 year old put a Hersheys kiss in a ziplock bag and wrapped it with construction paper for me. Then my 4 year old ate it.

Bought myself an Apple Watch and a new pair of Sennheisers

Other people got me things but I haven't opened them yet

My grandfather died on Christmas Eve three years ago, and this thread was one of the last places I would have expected to see or read something something so poignant and deeply moving that it brought me to tears halfway through reading it.

Do you happen to know what this quote is from? I need whatever this is from in my life.

Beats Solo 3 wireless
New band for my Apple Watch (metal link)
House shoes
Workout clothes
A handheld kitchen mixer
Kansas City Chiefs coffee mug and keychain
"Something else" in a box in the garage that I haven't opened yet

EDIT: "Something else" was a new set of adjustable weights with a stand. Nice! My home gym is nearly complete.

How to Get Filthy Rich in Rising Asia by Mohsin Hamid. It's a wonderful book, worthy of that closing sentence. Thank Chichikov if you like it.

"though not in a creepy way" just kills the message for me.

His name is at the bottom btw.

From me to me: Burberry scarf, Hitman, Hatoful Boyfriend
From parents to me: $$$, new strap for my watch

That I know of:

Criterion Collection Godzilla

Criterion Collection The Great Dictator

Doctor Who The Complete Ninth Series

The Art of Alice: Madness Returns

Labyrinth: The Ultimate Visual History

Guillermo Del Toro's Pans Labyrinth: Inside the Creation of a Modern Fairy Tale

I got a Vive, some camera tripods for the sensors, and a few games.

Shit you not, best Christmas since my childhood. The Vive is the most amazing gaming device since I first played the NES.
