Yakuza 3 TGS trailer

I haven't seen the 20 min trailer yet but here's hoping the soundtrack will be as awesome as Kenzan! I remember how much I fell in love with Ketsumeishi's Life is Beautiful and Zeebra's BUSHIDO the minute I saw Kenzan! long trailer.
 
With the number of times it's been attacked I'm suprised the Millenium Tower is still standing.

And any bets on the short-tempered bald dude betraying the Tojo?

And that guy with the snake tattoo at the beginning looks awfully like Shinji from the first game. Does the text or dialogue give any clues as to who he is?

Wow. The amount of detail in the characters faces is amazing.

Hopefully they keep the Japanese voices with english subtitles for this and Kenzan when they release it outside of Japan. I didn't mind the english voices in the first game, but I don't want them to keep switching back and forth between english and japanese with each game.

Also does anyone know what the song is that plays around 4:45 in that trailer?

The cutscenes look awesome. Comes off as a Kinji Fukasaku, Johnny To, Takashi Miike, etc. organized crime movie in video game form. More games like this should exist, the world would be a better place for it :D

My god that looks amazing. Especially after playing 2 recently!

For the love of God please release this over here and maybe use this engine to knock out Shenmue 3 as well! (or maybe re-release 1and 2 with updated graphics with this engine).

Sega...slowly....redeeming...itself...
 
Seamless battles are awesome and the chasing scene looked extremely good. Even though i don't speak japanese i'll import it as soon as possible.
 
that 20 min vid is amazing, the game looks spectacular. I still can't believe how good the visuals are! The combat looks silky smooth! Who woulda thought Yakuza 3 is in the running for game of the show?

I'm loss of words. It's just fucking insanity.

The game looks finished at that!

Sega please, hire the same guys that translated Yakuza 2 and release it asap in the west!

We don't need dubbing or other version languages!

OMGGGGGG that extended trailer was too awesome. Sega and Nagoshi just bumrushed every other japanese developer.

the attention to detail is just mind numbing ! there's even a trail of saliva between the guy's lips in the closeup shots when they're all sitting in the tojo briefing room. holy shit :o

and the mini games alone look enough to warrant the price of one full game.

This is the game all PS3 owners should be excited about, i hope this game gets alot of attention in the states and sega & Sony take notice to get this shit out in the states asap.
 
wouldn't it be better if sega were to just subtitle it to have an early english release ? i mean im pretty sure they realize that the subtitle'd second game has generally been received better by the fans compared to the first one ..

hell, placing english text in the game is as easy as placing japanese text, they could even do a simultaneous release if they wanted to .

played them both (currently playing the 2nd one) , im just amazed at the attention to detail. This is by far one of the biggest next-gen transitions i've seen of a series from the ps2 era.

also kazuma kareoke lol !
 
Holy shit at epic trailer.

Right now RGG3 is my most wanted game.
Graphics are incredible.

The seamless battles looks so badass.
 
Bloody hell this game looks good, I knew the Yakuza Kenzan engine had potential, cause i admit the spin-off wasn't up to par.

If the game is not delayed, downgraded or changed in anyway, the 360 can have a version as well. It's just that ports tend to interrupt time schedules and quality which is very annoying.
 
I doubt this well get ported, although stranger things have happened...either way, best to forget that for now...unlike other games this series has no history of being on other consoles...yet

Then all the Xbots can yup it up, that's just what we need for another lost exclusive. I want as many people to experience it as well, they will just have to buy a PS3 to do so. You getting yours this month?

And I forgot to type the reason I came in here....HOT DAMN this looks hot. Can't wait for the whole video to load.
