Have we heard whether Xbox One supports camera and voice commentary on live streaming? I assume yes, but we haven't really heard or seen much about live streaming on the XB1 side.
This. AFAICT, all the share stuff is handled by the OS and broadcasted via API's. You won't have to launch different apps for each outlet, they all use the same universal interface. Why would Twitch be any different though?![]()
Woah, didn't even think about the camera pointing at you. Hype+10How is this even news?

Auto tuned right?
Real talk, all Sony would have to do, to sell folks on the PS4 Eye, is announce u can group/party video chat during multiplayer sessions.
It would have been silly if all you could do is watch.
No problem, that screenshot is ancient![]()
I'm not sure about that - the twitter post could be related to audio commentary only...

So do you need to pay to upload to Twitch? I mean pay Twitch themselves. They've gotta be worried that suddenly thousands and thousand of new Xbone and PS4 users are suddently going to be doing 10 hour streams and then having to automatically archive them. That's gotta cost a fortune.

Most people use a webcam when they livestream their games on Twitch. So, If you are gonna be streaming a lot on the PS4, the PS Eye Camera is a MUST.
Nope, that's free on PS4.
But if you want to play multiplayer and stream you're going to need a PS+ sub.
Twitch is free to stream. It automatically archives them, but you have to manually save those archives if you want to keep it forever
Can anyone spot the Wii U logo in that screenshot?

Thanks for posting that. Their editor looks pretty good for a console editor.
That pic is outdated. Current UI looks like this:added to the op - thx!
I'm pretty sure they've confirmed commentary using the Twitch Xbox One app. You can see a mute mic option in this pic:That video only shows that you can combine a clip from the game with a clip from your audio commentary. They are actually 2 clips recorded at different times. I have not seen any information about streaming with voice or even recording with voice at the same time.

added as well - thx! That pic is outdated. Current UI looks like this:
Yes but no video options I thought we were talking about face cams in particular.
With kinect bundled in it would be stupid to not provide face cam support - I'm pretty sure it'll be there...

lets not assume until we hear it a second time from microsoft

Where did they say the first time that streaming would have face cam support?
I kind of want to stream for GAF on launch day but I think I'll be too self conscious to do it.
It would have been silly if all you could do is watch.
You know, they should really get around to mentioning what you can do with it. I imagine Microsoft can do more with Kinect and they are keeping quite about it because of that.
I'm just gonna stream gameplay. Killzone Shadow Fall
Good luck with that, twitch and Ustream are probably getting DDoS'ed beyond repair in launch week![]()
I don't see how else it could work via the share button. If everything is section off to it's own little app it just complicate the upload process. If you look at the Gamescom UI stage demo, you'll note that at the end of it Yoshida is able to tweet out a screenshot by just pressing the button. There's no twitter app launching, no menu shuffling. He's already linked his PSN account to his Twitter account so when he presses the button to share a picture the system already has access to his twitter account via the Twitter API and is able to directly tweet out the picture. It'll be the same with streaming. Link Twitch to PSN and just press Share. If you have multiple accounts like Twitch and Ustream you'll probably be asked which you want to use to broadcast or you'll be able to have different defaults for each media set by pressing Options while in the Share screen.Really? Are we sure about this? Also do you know if these streams will be available from that "Live from Playstation" channel?
