Agreed. I never used anything else for him in 3, and I would continue to use it if it were in the modern games. It's cool, however, that they actually modeled that squid-head drawing in the bottom right corner and added it to Soul Calibur IV. I think it was DLC though.


If Soul Calibur VI were really cool, they'd bring back these old alts through customization/create-a-soul.

Alas, the best we can hope for are new unique customization sets that fit together to form a new "alt".

Yeah. Soul Calibur still manages it at least. Well... for the most part. I do recall certain characters in SCV having only recolors as alts.

Well, why not? There was that one girl in King of Fighters, Athena, who ALWAYS have an entirely different outfit for each new iteration of the game. Some things are done just for creativity's sake. And Yoshimitsu allow the team to go wild without having to bring in a new character as Guinea pig..

Flag Yoshimitsu is SoulCalibur Yoshimitsu. He even utilizes it in his attacks.

I believe you're thinking of SoulCalibur II Yoshimitsu specifically.

Marshall Law were one of the first ones in the roster, so he's in.

If you really want to get sick of him, or break in the new design or whatever here's over two hours of gameplay footage. Or considerably shorter practice mode footage.

Tekken 7's graphics sure have come a ways. Can't wait to see how it looks by the time of the home release.



Also, his design was done by former Platinum Games artist who did a lot of design work for MGR: Revengeance (like designing Jetstream Sam, for instance) and modeled Bayonetta. Hmm...
