In no specific order:

Super Mario Maker (create your own Mario-levels in 4 different styles or play levels created by other players, endless amount of fun)
Xenoblade Chronicless X (a spiritual successor to one of the greatest RPGs of all time, even if it won't be quite the same experience as Xenoblade Chronicles, I'm sure it will offer a hundred of hours of fun still)
Star Fox Zero (finally a Star Fox game that seems to capture the magic of the original Star Fox and SF64 again)
FAST Racing Neo (a great looking futuristic racer from Shin'en, the wizards of all things hardware. We haven't had too many of those races in a while. If it plays well and has enough content, it could very well be on the same podium with the F-Zero series)
Rive (from the great indie developer Two Tribes comes this awesome looking shooter. Played the downloadable E3 demo and it was quite awesome)

Fallout 4
Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain
Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection

Fuck everything else not worth the $60.

1. Super Mario Maker
2. Yoshi's Woolly World
3. Skylanders Supercharged
4. Hatsune Miku Project Mirai 2
5. Rodea the Sky Soldier

3-5 are already preordered, 1-2 will be digital purchases.

Will buy a few others anyway like Starfox Zero, FAST Racing Neo, Guitar Hero Live, etc.

1) XCOM 2 by a fairly wide margin. If I had to go with just one game this fall, it'd be that. Y'all are crazy for sleeping on this shit, it's gonna be the best turn based strategy game in a long, long time.
2) Fallout 4. Can't wait. It's probably the only game that'll really eat into my XCOM time this fall.
3) Star Wars Battlefront, shit just looks fun as hell
4) No Man's Sky, out of sheer curiosity
5) MGSV, I've kept myself from spoiling this one so it should be a real treat.

1. Persona 5
2. XCOM 2
3. Fallout 4
4. Mad Max
5. Rock Band 4

Rock Band 4 could be switched out for Until Dawn, though, as it's entirely dependent on the final tracklist to determine whether it's a must-get as soon as possible or not. I'm also surprised at how little hyped I am for MGSV...I guess I'm just not as big into the franchise as I was growing up.

For me right now, it's only really looking like there are two things are I'm interested in at the moment (which is fine, since funds are kinda tight): Super Mario Maker and Yoshi's Woolly World, which both look absolutely amazing to me. ^_^

Was also kinda curious about Xenoblade Chronicles X, but I just don't have the time for that kinda game and some of the impressions from those who imported the game kinda turned me off from it regardless. And then there's the opposite situation for Star Fox Zero, where it looks like it will have too little content to be worth the price, is relying way too heavily on SF64 nostalgia and lacks it's own identity (and even there, some levels, like Zoness seem like they were done better in SF64), and for some reason Nintendo again seems to fail to realize that the series is absolutely crying out for an online multiplayer mode, especially now more than ever since both the Landmaster and the Arwing can switch between land and air at will (seriously, just imagine the SF64 multiplayer mode with those kinda options added in and the ability to play with people online~ :O), which leads to an all around sense of disappointment in it thus far for me.

But anyway, kinda got off point there a bit. Yoshi's Woolly World and Super Mario Maker should definitely be much more than enough for me though, especially the latter, and I can't wait for either of them. ^_^

Oh, and almost entirely forgot about Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon--that's a huge mystery for me (pun not intended). I kinda have a huge love/hate relationship with some of the decisions in previous games like Explorers of the Sky, so I might pick it up, but I need to hear a lot more about how some of the mechanics of the game work, particularly in regards to how evolution works for your starter/partner. If they just let you do that whenever, I'd be fairly likely to pick it up, but if it's like Explorers of the Sky, where not only can they not evolve during the main game, but they also can't evolve until you've finished the main post-game stuff as well, even though I loved the story of Explorers of the Sky, and this game otherwise looks great and a real return-to-form for the series, I might have to give i a pass, since that really, really annoyed me. So, I'll really have to see when it comes to that one.

1. Rare Replay
2. Gears Ultimate edition
3. Forza 6
4. Halo 5
5. Rise of the Tomb Taider

*Fallout 4, Battlefront, MGSV:TPP are also on the purchase list

From those listed...

-Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain
-Rock Band 4
-Halo 5: Guardians
-Rise of the Tomb Raider
-Star Wars Battlefront

I guess Rare Replay doesn't count as a Fall game, even though it's out only a few days before the first thing listed...? That's the next thing I'm getting. The above are the only other games I plan to get for sure by the end of year, though there are others I'd like to get as well, like Super Mario Maker, Star Fox Zero, Just Cause 3, Mighty No. 9, Yoshi's Wooly World...actually, that might be it. Maybe Xenoblade Chronicles X.

Tales of Zestiria and Star Wars Battlefront. In theory. I don't know that I buy anything this year, though. I would buy Battlefront this year for PC if I knew it offered controller support. Otherwise, it will have to wait for the if and when I buy a current console. (I wish they'd just release it for PS3, but whatever.)

Killer Instinct (PC) if it is released this Fall. Otherwise, the only upcoming game I am interested is Dark Souls III which is a 2016 title. And maybe SF5 depending of the roster.

1. Super Mario Maker
2. Star Wars Battlefront
3. Xenoblade Chronicles X
4. Star Fox Zero
5. Fallout 4

Realistically I'll be lucky to have the time and money for my top 3, and anything non-Nintendo I can wait a few months until they're around $20.

In no particular order

Uncharted Collection
Metal Gear Solid V: TPP
Halo 5
Star Wars Battlefront
Mighty No.9

Realistically, 5 titles is quite a bit for me in terms of fitting them in. Uncharted alone is 3 games in one. It's gonna be a solid end to 2015.

In order of release:

1. Super Mario Maker
2. Rock Band 4
3. Fallout 4
4. Star Wars Battlefront
5. Persona 5 (which totally isn't coming out in the US this year, so as a backup I'm going to say Rise of the Tomb Raider)

Uncharted collection (I've never seen footage or played any of them)

Super Mario maker (can't wait to make tournaments with my roommates)

Yoshi Wooley world (looks like a true successor to super Mario world 2)

Fallout 4 (never played any of the series but I have faith in my friends suggestions)

Star wars battlefront (that multiplayer goodness alongside splatoon will be enough online for all of 2015)

This is why I keep a list of potential purchases. The past couple years have been really boring to me in terms of releases, though, so 5 is more than enough.

1. Fallout 4 (definitely)
2. Rainbow Six: Siege (probably)
3. Hitman (maybe)
4. Mad Max (big maybe)
5. Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain (big maybe)

I guess that's it. Like I said, 5 is more than enough.

Rare Replay
MGS5
Trackmania Turbo
Fallout 4
Star Wars Battlefront

Might swap Rare Replay for Mario Maker (stealth 6th choice)

This is easy for me because I've already planned to only buy two games this fall anyways:

Super Mario Maker
Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon (JPN import)

And that's it.

That's a pretty generous Fall window. Five games is probably three games more than I'll be able to afford this year, but if I were able to:

Xenoblade Chronicles X
Fatal Frame
Star Fox
Super Mario Maker
Fast Racing Neo

In order of importance

  1. Halo 5
  2. Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4
  3. Super Mario Maker
  4. Star Wars Battlefront
  5. Danganronpa Another Episode: Ultra Despair Girls
(plus a bunch of amiibo)

if i'm judging fall as september 23 - december whatever, then:

xenoblade chronicles x
rodea the sky soldier
persona 5
star fox zero
yoshi's woolly world
