This was actually sort of confusing at first as apparently the game hadn't fully loaded, and it was moving at hyperspeed for me, and it wouldn't let me jump.

This game is so hard. I spent an hour trying to kill that basterd but the axes dont do any damage! There must be some clue somewhere, but I can't find any!!!

Did anyone realize that this game was a commentary on game heroes? In games, they do all sorts of death defying shit, but in real life, doing something like this would make you a hero.

Yeah, this game isn't working for me. The ending theme starts right when it finishes loading and I can't get my character to do much of anything.

if you are asking "can you throw the axe without jumping" then yeh you can, or at least i can (down arrow, or any letter of the keyboard, will throw the axe)

I simply tapped Ctrl and threw axes as though the next rotation of the earth was deterred.
