Gumball machine ninjas! I loved these things, got one everytime I went to the supermarket with my mom. I eventually had a bunch of every color and I remember one day I had them all fight a ninja war in my awesome little lego castle I built. I'd use a pair of scissors to dismember them once in awhile as I played...I mean it is a ninja war. Not many survived that afternoon I'm afraid

Unfortunately I can't find the video to go along with the 1980s version, but Sesame Street theme :D

EDIT: Does anyone remember what those miniature brains you kept in a jar of water for a few weeks and they would grow to real size were called?

This thread is a fascinating mix of things I remember from childhood and things that came out when I was already out of college. :lol

I must know the answer to this as well.

I was ON that show when I was 15. I won playing Super Empire Strikes Back for the SNES. It was just after the N64 came out too.
You know, I actually remember that episode.

Not the specifics, but I remember them playing that.

I also remember them playing BETA N64's at one point, or demoing them, and they had Wave Race set up before it was switched to Jet Ski's.

Was this just a Canadian show?

Alright, so who remembers filling out Scholastic flyers once a month during elementary school to order cool shit/books?

I just remember flipping right to the end past the books to order the stuff like spy cameras or whatever.

It was a YTV show, so most likely aired majoritively in Canada.

Right here. I would always get Garfield, Hardy Boy, and Choose Your Adventure books from that.

Did you have bookfairs too? I remember always getting pencil toppers and bookmarks from them.
