And laugh at these f*ck n****z, cause they so funny
HA HAAAAAAAAAAAAAH
So I've been listening to lots of Young Jeezy (a/k/a The Snowman a/k/a Young Jizzle) lately, and he's basically the best. His albums have fantastic production, and his rhymes are great.

Oh, and his ad libs are top notch.

The Inspiration was one of the very best rap albums last year, and I still listen to it almost daily. It's fun, dumb rap about selling drugs. I mean, there's not much to not like.

Here's a video for one of the tracks from The Inspiration, "I Luv It," and it's a banger: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QaUTgpQC-5I
And here's a video of him freestyling with a bunch of guns: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AEqZ6kqjA68

So now let's talk about Young Jeezy, and his awesomeness, and the fact that he's the best mainstream rapper now. Fact.

his new(ish) record is good, but for some reason i got sick of it really quickly. a few solid tracks on it though and some great production. he will only get bigger (if possible) after all the XXL/the source articles on him.

is there something to appreciate about Young Jeezy?

"Patty cake patty cake microwave
These suckas make a square, damn I'm paid "

There are no other mainstream rappers more deserving of appreciation than Young Jeezy.

W...T...F...? Are...are you serious? How in the hell do these "rapper" get away with these lyrics?

:lol These lyrics are awful but they are not quite on Cam'ron's level

"Bam bam, jam jam, and a handstand, ha ha so tan in the tan stand
Ra-ra, na-na, ha-ha, la-la, mama I keep that blam blam"

" I get the boasters boasting, I get computers puting
Y'all get shot at, call me, I do the shooting
I do the recruiting, I tutor the students
I nurture they brain, I'm moving the movement
Whether buddist or budah, that's judist or juda
I got luger to ruger, hit from +Roota to Toota+
Chick from hooter to hooter, I put two in producers
I'm the real boss story, the hoolah of hoosiers
I rock mostly dosey, I roll mostly dololy
I'll leave you wholy, holy, you'll say "Holy Moly"

"Eight, boom, boom, my ace boon coon
Shake, bake, skate, vroom, vroom (We getting money nigga)
Seventh to eighth, zoom, zoom, boom, boom tune "

Whaaaa?

Saying "MIKE JOOOOONES" over and over is not better than having "AD LIBS ERRYWHERE"

:lol, that's what makes him so great! na, it does get annoying after a while but he's still awesome. check the track 'grandma' (i'm guessing you've heard it anyway) for his more 'serious' side when he isn't talking about his mobile number, purple drank and bitches every four seconds.

also that track with slim thug and paul wall (usually hate his stuff) is awesome.

Are the people who actually listen to that shit? :/

Jackie is a punk
Judy is a runt
They both went down to Berlin, joined the Ice Capades
And oh, I don't know why
Oh, I don't know why
Perhaps they'll die, oh yeah [x4]

Second verse, same as the first
[Repeat first verse]

Third verse, different from the first
Jackie is a punk
Judy is a runt
They both went down to Frisco, joined the SLA
And oh, I don't know why
Oh, I don't know why
Perhaps they'll die, oh yeah [x4]

Get over yourselves.

Is this guy the moron who goes PATTY CAKE PATTY CAKE MICROOOOWAAVEE or is that Manny Fresh?

well you got it both right in a way... Manny made the beat which Jeezy laid the lyrics... you can see my thoughts on them at the 6th post of the thread

since we're talking about shitty rappers, what in the FUUUUUUUUUCK is up with that new P-Diddy song? The one with Keisa Cole that sounds all 80s? Its got the most laughable vocals (courtesy of Diddy) i think i've ever heard on a mainstream song on the radio.

That girl in the I Luv It video is ****ING HOT!!!!!!!!!! Holy shit. Does anybody know what her name is?

The one with the rack from God and the ass of heavens.

Awful lyricist, but I luv it! Especially Go Getta. The inspiration is way better than his last album. Like Lambtron said the production values are awesome. You guys gotta understand. It's all about catering to the lowest common denominators of the rap market. If he actually rapped about something in his songs, it would be too specific for anyone to like and he would only sell five copies. That's riiiight!

It's true.

I don't look at Jeezy much differently than all the G-Funk stuff from the early 90s. Snoop & Dre are certainly better technical rappers, but the subjects of lots of those songs was equally, I dunno, repetitive. Jeezy talks about shooting people and trapping. They talked about shooting people... and getting high. Doesn't mean I don't feel that Doggystyle is one of the best/most influential rap albums ever. I just think it's pretty smug to somehow look down on Jeezy (and lots of his ilk) because it's more current.

I am not looking down on him because he is current or because of the content, but because he has little skills.. I like a lot of "gangster" rap.. just Young Jeezy has zero flow.. at all....

wtf I suddenly became interested in this. Is this hilariously bad rap like how steven seagal movies are entertaining in a bad way? :lol
