Controversial opinion: I think Wally should not come back. I loved his character, one of my favorites of the show. I just want his death to mean something, instead of just being an emotional heartpull that didn't mean anything in the end.

Yeah, no. I feel like forced cloning should be viewed like someone stealing your eggs/sperms without you knowing. Then 10 years pass and ths child that was created escapes and comes to you. Also turns out they were created to kill you. And the perpetrators are the Government.

Superman is the best of humanity but he's still human. Humans aren't fond of forced reproduction.
Sorta, haha. I get what you mean though, and agree.

If Wally doesn't return, neither will his best friend Nightwing.

I always figured he just needed a break after all that. The planning of the undercover mission, having lots on the team distrusting you for what you did, and then on top of that, your best friend dies. But it's nightwing were talking about here. He'll rally; can't imagine him not fighting crime in some way.

If they do bring Wally back, that's fine, I guess. I'm expecting it, just wish they wouldn't.

I'd be annoyed if Wally came back in like five months after a hiatus like a normal show, but for the audience he's really been dead for years. I wouldn't mind him making a triumphant return in the hire act of S3 or whenever.

Wasn't the original plan for Season 3 to be set 30 years in the future, starting with Wally coming out of the speedforce?

It's on Amazon Prime if that helps, that's where I rewatched it.

Oh, i'll look into that! Amazon also seems to have region free Blu Rays which, while a little pricey, might be neat. I only ever watched Season 1 of Young Justice years ago but if I can support it in some small way...

Edit: Subbed to Amazon Prime Video...

The only mentioned plan for original S3 was to go deep into magic, meaning more Dr. Fate, Faust, Wotan, Zatanna and Klarion. I guess they wouldn't resolve Wally's fate, Conner's stunted growth or Warworld until S4.

If that's the case, do we also get Spectre and Phantom Stranger?

If that is the case, I'd really like an episode that explores Zatanna's relationship with Dr. Fate. Shit gotta be awkward.

Also, bring on some other magic users like Raven. Dunno, just an idea, lol.

Yes! I hope its some sort of direct continuation and not another time skip. There were some things that still need to be resolved.

More nightwing and original team and less secondary characters please. Season 1 introduced a likeable crew then season 2 had basically cameos from them.

Yeah. I wouldn't mind this format. It worked better for JL and JLU because you had longer with the core group before they became leads/cameos of other teams of less popular heroes. I was okay with the time skip in this but I hope they don't do it again.

This is true. I hadn't considered the art team might change. Do we know if the original artists are currently working on other projects? To a degree, I can swallow uninspiring art so long as the quality of the writing is upheld.
That's Pretty much my feelings on the show. I sometimes like it but not for the art style and animation. Everyone has that DC animation blocky look to them that irritates me.

It will for fans, especially if/when it comes out that this was Netflix's doing, I can see fans of other shows organizing #RenewMYShow hashtag and viewing events

Time for all the canceled comic book cartoons to get new seasons.

X-Men Evolution Season 5
Teen Titans Season 6
Wolverine and the X-Men Season 2
Justice League Unlimited Season 4

I agree with that. Atleast not in season 3. I don't understand what people say when they say his fate was left hanging. He very clearly died.

Phil is confirmed to be returning

WTF?? Wow, really cool news. Hope the new season keeps up with the quality of the previous ones. Still salty how DC Nation just like died with Young Justice and Green Lantern getting such poor treatment. It was such a good idea, the shows were great, and they were starting to build a new fanbase for things.

Not in the current X-men climate
We have Go
You won't get both of these
Justice League Action exists

Oh my, I can't believe this. The cartoon was / is superb. So happy to see being brought back. Bad thing to end it that way and I wanted more seasons from it.

That epilogue was wack. Really didn't like what they revealed there

I loved the moment with Batman and Ace, but otherwise I forget 99% of it. Which probably says enough.

Edit: Turns out I only ever got as far as Ep 16 of Season 1. So I watched EP 17. Holy shit its so good.
New God designs remain some of the coolest + crazy comic book stuff.

Teen Titans had a fair run, but the rest definitely deserve renewing. Spectacular Spider-Man and EMH too of course.

Still, I'll count my blessings. I never thought I'd see season 3 of Young Justice. :')

Yeah, its meant to be a bit of deliberately awkward situation. Clark's not mean about it or anything, he's just not sure how to feel for much of the time.

Admittedly, while its probably too recent a development comics wise to consider for integration in the show, and would require another significant timeskip (that, or a hefty retcon to the nature of Lois and Clark's relationship in the background of the show), I'd be kinda curious to see what they could do with bringing Jonathan Kent to the series. It'd be a way of continuing Connor's identity issues, but from a different angle - instead of seeking validation, he'd find himself at threat of being invalidated as the 'real' Superboy. Plus it would give him the chance to play the mentor/elder brother role, where Dick loosely had that with Tim.
If they bring in Jonathan, then we'd need Damien. Not saying "no," but that's the way it'll have to go.

Maaaaan people forget that shit.

I want him to come back so that way we can have a Speed Force arc. Have Inertia show up to give Bart a foil and have a speedster fight that brings Wally back.

The true World's Finest.

Not true at all. People apparently forget that all of them had integral roles in the plot and how much focus was put on: Nightwing; Kaldur; Superboy and M'gann's relationship; Roy and the final discovery of the original Roy Harper and the birth of Arsenal. Let's not forget how Artemis and Wally both had major roles at points. If anyone was a waste of time, it was Guardian and Bumblebee. Excuse my boredom. Jaime, Impulse, and the experimented kids (Virgil, Longshadow, etc.) were all cool, too. If anyone got truly shorted on their characters, it was Barbara, Cassie, Tim, and Garth.
I agree with that. Atleast not in season 3. I don't understand what people say when they say his fate was left hanging. He very clearly died.
Absorbed into the Speed Force =/= death. No corpse, no ashes, no physical evidence whatsoever.

Greg Weisman doesn't like the Speed Force and it doesn't exist in the Young Justice universe - he's specifically said they'll never do anything with it.
And rightly so, it's a dumb concept.

If anything Wally got hurled through time or something.

Raven isn't magic I think, more of telepath.

There was a quote about a forty year time jump. The part about Wally time travelling is fan speculation.

The lead up to Wally ' s death was constantly pointing out how much of a garbage speedster he was compared to Barry and Bart. There was also a quote from Weisman that people initially took to mean there was no Speed Force on Young Justice, but he later clarified that he just meant nobody knew about the Speed Force.

It would make a lot of sense for Wally to travel to the future, and only be able to come back by learning about the Speed Force.

I'd also like the return of DC Nation shorts to somehow be packaged with this

I really wanted to see the Amethyst: Princess of Gemworld concept fleshed out more, seemed like it would had made a good series. Though it'd be kind of awkward now with that other gem-related animated series having 3 years to establish itself...

All the main characters from Season 1 were still key players in Season 2. The only ones that really stepped back were Wally and Red Arrow. Everyone else was just in new roles. The only new players that took any focus of their own were Arsenal, Blue Beetle and Impulse.
