the Kobe 4's and 6's are the shit, better than anything Jordan's put out in years. Difference is they just look like actual basketball shoes, instead of trying to be too fashionable, because these days a pair of basketball shoes is about as fashionable as a FuBu jacket. Kobes are the best for actual on-court use.

HA, they are bigger than ever, more expensive than ever, have the highest markups ever & have the largest following ever.
Back in the '90s, you could go at any popular shoe store at any time & buy an Air Jordan.

Now you have to line up like it's Black Friday for some releases. The recent release of the 11's were sold out everywhere within minutes & there were even a few riots at different locations throughout the country when people found out they obviously wouldn't be able to get a pair.

Deadstock/mint pairs of late '80s & early '90s Air Jordans regularly go in for several grand easily on eBay & other auction marketplaces.

When i was younger (6 or so years ago) i had these And1 shoes and i remember them to be fantastic too bad that now i don't remember how they were made aside from few elements like being all black but glossy and shiny, having a metallic player under the malleolus and having a basket ball silhouette in clear plastic behind the heel...

well Kobe's are $140 not $200-300, and I would play sports in them because that is their intended purpose. I'd much rather pay $140 for basketball shoes I will use for basketball over basketball shoes I will use for "casual wear". I'm not 15.
