It's advertisement. Brands pay them to wear their clothes and such, or post a pic with their product in it. Definitely not free.
That is really interesting, and smart for the companies. It does look like a hard job to do though, but I guess that's what models do.

There are agents to take care of the business side for them, just like with regular models for magazines and such.
It's a bit the same as those Youtube vloggers. They get paid to make videos about certain products.
