As far as platformers go, Mirror's Edge is probably number one for me. It's consistently awesome, but I can't pull a single track from it. The strength in its music is how effortlessly it transitions from one composition to the other, depending if you're doing a puzzle, running, or in combat.

Lost Odyssey Battle Theme.

I thought Assassin's creed II and SMG had great soundtracks. Posted already though.

The main theme from Lost odyssey was well done, but I really liked the battle theme. I felt it kept the battles going, and I never got sick of the song!

Nier has the best soundtrack of any game this generation, by a thousand million magnitudes.

ACII and Brotherhood's OST comes close, though. Jesper Kyd is amazing.
