Your favorite name for a game?

Sins of a Solar Empire.

That name is mainly super memorable to me because the only game of it I ever played honestly kinda crushed me.

I made a game with me, an ultra-hard AI as my ally, and 3 medium AI as enemies. I had spent most of the game just advancing in tech and I had small skirmishes here and there but mainly I was just going for a cultural/technological victory. Problem here is, my AI companion was going hard on plotting out how to crush the other AIs, and....well....I forgot to enable the "People in a team are always allies" option, so eventually this AI told me they wished to go Neutral. It was at this point in time where I spent every single resource I had on amassing an armada to go at this ally, but the realization is that I was too late - I had allowed him to become so powerful and never questioned that they might turn on me. The very last moment for me in that game was me directing my armada towards one of his fleets, and I saved the game and then promptly uninstalled it...because I couldn't bare the reality of seeing how it was going to play out.

I already knew I had lost. This was the Sin of my Solar Empire :'(

Red Dead Revolver, the perfect title.

Honorable mentions go to Dangerous High School Girls in Trouble! for being long and humorous without tipping over into trying too hard and Night Slashers just for being so badass.

Fighting Layer makes my tongue melt...

One of the best 2d beat-em-ups ever.

people are already covering the hilariously terrible ones, so I'm gonna roll with the Japanese title for Virtue's Last Reward (Zennin Shibō Desu) having a double meaning of "Good People Die" and "I Want to be a Good Person."

Virtue's Last Reward kind of captures that feeling ("Virtue is its own reward," "Gone to his last reward"), but it's a bit clumsier.

Space Hulk: Deathwing - Rise of the Terminators

Yeah, I know that "Rise of the Terminators" isn't actually part of the title . . . but it should be.

God Hand and Vanquish (especially the latter) are both awesome, elegant titles. Psycho Break is similarly cool.

Ketsui ("determination") is a really cool one too.

-Destiny.
-The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Even its expansions have great names.
-Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain.
-Mass Effect.
-Cadillacs & Dinosaurs.

Metal Gear Solid. It's a strange combination of words when you really think about it but it's unique and sounds cool in a throwback to old action films kinda way. It's great.

I like Mass Effect too. Relevant to the game and its lore, and doesn't sound corny in the way some sci-fi titles are guilty of. Hotline Miami sounds cool too.

Under a killing moon
The title is great and it becomes better when you come to the point in the game where you realize what it means.

Everybody's Gone To The Rapture
A Machine For Pigs

Sins of a Solar Empire

These are favorites.

I still like the simplicity and mystery of "Life is Strange." I was really intrigued when the Square Enix trademark first leaked and we knew nothing else about it.

Also strongly agree with the many mentions of "I Have No Mouth And I Must Scream" although that one is cheating a little bit.

Lee Trevino's Fighting Golf
This one has confused me since forever.

killer7

killers heaven. great in itself and fits the game so well with the seven personas and the heaven smiles.

Wonderful 101

Zero Time Dilemma (Especially after Virtue's Last Reward, it just sounded *so perfect* for a name)

La Mulana is just fun to say.

REVENGEANCE!

Xenoblade

Sin & Punishment

Shadow of the Colossus

Whoever thought of this title is a genius. I think it has a different name in Japan. Wander and the Colossus, am I right?

MGSV: Phantom Pain
Death Stranding

Yes. One of them doesn't even have a gameplay yet but these are awesome titles. I haven't even played Kojima's games except for PT.
